happy new year!
Forgotten Friday #314 - 閖音ロウ / Yurine Rou
So hi! I love the Visual Archive with a passion. I want to set it up so that Forgotten Friday is from the visual archive and wiki Wednesday is from the Wikis.
It's a bit of a struggle because that leaves me dependent on the Internet Archive... The service that is constantly under attack and pretty slow. It's a struggle, but I have my mind set.
Another Bit of housekeeping. I had a feeling that people are sick of my tester USTs. I just use the same ones over and over and over... Wiki Wednesday has been scheduled out until 2026, so those use my previous batch of testers. I made like 20 unique tester USTs that I'll try to use for this! I might dip into my old USTs from like... The year 2020, but I'll avoid using the stuff I wore out for the 2025 Wiki Wednesday articles.
Rou is a stubborn woman who seems to be really bad with money.
Who Is Rou Yurine?

Suzette didn't have much, but she was fine with that. She had her dry cleaning shop with a small apartment on the top floor. Though, she preferred sleeping in her office.
She had always been a night owl. Living at work let her do anything other than sleep at night. She had two employees that took care of customers while she slept during the day.
She was hand washing a garment when the air chilled. She looked up at the door. There was an inky blackness covering the entire glass pane. She got up from her stool and walked to the door. She had a feeling she knew what was happening.
She unlocked the door.
The inky blackness filtered in like smoke. She closed the door and looked up at the shining white featureless face.
"Slendy Bendy!" She laughed.
"You know I can't stand that name!" His voice was normal. There was no creepy distortion. He didn't even sound threateningly masculine - just completely average.
"Right, Paul." She nodded as she called him the name she gave him in kindergarten. "I didn't know you wore clothes."
Paul gestured down at his suit. "I assure you, this is clothing." He paused. He had no face, but Suzette could read the small tilts of his head just as easily as she could read a frown or a smile. He was nervous.
"You've got that magical being thing going on. But I'm betting you're tired of your get up?" She went back to her stool. "I'm not sure how much I can help - I'd lose this place pretty quick if I just stole clothes."
"Suzie-sue, you're a seamstress!" He threw his arms up in feigned excitement. They briefly clipped through the ceiling with a puff of smoke before he pulled them back down to his side.
She laughed. She did minor alterations. "I have a sewing machine, but I don't have fabric and I don't have patterns! Besides... I'm not sure if I can get your measurements given the whole..." She pantomimed him sticking his arm into the air and made a 'poof' sound with her mouth.
He laughed softly. He pulled a package from behind his back. "I snuck into a store after hours and got bed sheets."
She couldn't help but laugh. There were two sets of California King sized sheets. One was light yellow and the other was pastel pink.
"Looking forward to Easter, Paul?"
Paul looked a bit sad. But he didn't want to make Suzette sad by making her think she made him sad! "Yes, actually. Well, no..." He sighed. "It's lonely, Suzie-sue. I thought, maybe if I look fun, more people will like me and be my friend... Like you!"
Suzette smiled. "You know, I didn't have any friends either. I wasn't scary... People are just mean in small towns." She paused. "But then again, you've been alive for hundreds of years. You've tried big cities, small cities, and hamlets. People don't really change, huh?"
How is Yurine Rou's bank?
I was able to get my hands on one bank. It is a single pitch VCV that also has a CV bank included. We can pretend the CV isn't there and it's just a simple VCV bank as the tone of the CV is basically the same as the VCV.
Her voice is so sweet and adorable!
Where Can I download Rou Yurine?
I had to use Google to find the bank! The Nico video had been taken down, but the YouTube video was still up!
