Axfc is a jerk. Here's my post on how to get downloads from there to work.

Multi-pitch CVVC banks do not work properly with the shareware A for automatic button!! Any articles where I complain about CVVC banks being broken is my own fault for not figuring it out sooner!!

Wiki Wednesday #60 - 艦音ゆしろ / Yushiro Kanne

I woke up jittery. It was so insane. There are two different terms for this, but each one is vastly different. The first is "mixed state". A mixed state picks some elements of mania, and some elements of depression and hugs them together. The other is "rapid cycling". Rapid cycling is when you bipolar as normal, only really, really fast. In my natural state, I didn't rapid cycle. My episodes lasted months at a time. But with meds, everything has changed. My episodes aren't regular anymore. They're just... Different. Smaller, quicker, and less devastating. Take your meds, yo.

Wiki Wednesday #60 - 艦音ゆしろ / Yushiro Kanne

I kind of recognize that writing articles so quickly and then spacing them out once per week can end up a little confusing when I refer to articles I wrote an hour ago as something I wrote an hour ago, or when I bring up what I wrote yesterday. If you're ever curious about the timeline in which I wrote these, you can "pop-out" the media player and it will take you to the file itself. You can check out the details to see when I wrote it. Usually I would include screenshots to demonstrate this, but the first picture is the one that gets picked as the icon, so I can't do that until after the icon for the bank!

Maybe my meds will kick in and I'll get less verbose (being a Southerner means adding "r"s everywhere. I spent way too long trying to figure out why verbrose wasn't spelled right). But for now, I have a lot of words to say. Especially because this UTAU shocked me and threw three banks at me in one ZIP archive.

Forgotten Friday #70 - 塩化名トリウム / Trium Enkana

I actually was really freaked out because I thought the blog was only pushed out until April 1st. Popped onto the blog to get to work, and bam! It was pushed out until April 17th. I don't absolutely need to freak out over the blog lapsing! My YouTube channel is basically guaranteed to lapse because, eh. I have videos to post, but I have to convert them first and I really need to switch to a different screen recorder.

Forgotten Friday #70 - 塩化名トリウム / Trium Enkana

(Note, I originally titled the article Thorium Enkana as the Wiki had it. After getting one paragraph in, I had to change it to what it was intended to be by the person who made it. It's a salt pun, and bringing Thorium into it ruined it.)

Her name is Salt (NaCl for ya'll Chemistry people. Ya'll know that table salt isn't the only salt). You're probably wondering why her name is Thorium, when that is an entirely different element from sodium. Well, the answer is that it probably isn't. The Japanese word for sodium chloride is 塩化ナトリウム. But, for this UTAU, the "na" was changed to a kanji to be part of her family name. I haven't seen her name written as Thorium except for the UTAU Wiki page. And, I'm pretty sure that Wiki page was pulling stuff out of thin air, because the original Latin for Sodium is natrium. So, she's really Enkana Trium.  Get it? Enkanatrium!

Anyway, I love puns.

Wiki Wednesday #59 - Mal-Cat's Reza

Another article about a Mal-Cat group UTAU! There really isn't much to say with these UTAUs. Would it make more sense to lump these UTAUs together so that there's less padding? Yes! Will I do it? No! If I made sure every article took one hour to write, then it would take me over a hundred hours to do this blog for a year! And, some articles straight up take forever, way longer than an hour. I get that a hundred hours sounds like nothing when it comes to work and jobs and stuff, it's not even three work weeks! But I'm not getting paid, man.

Wiki Wednesday #59 - Mal-Cat's Reza

So, another UTAU from Mal-Cat, and another one voiced by Machine. I still don't know who Machine is. Maybe in a previous article I figured it out? My memory is beyond shot.

So, article.

Forgotten Friday #69 - 碧衣フウ / Aoi Fu

heh, nice.

Forgotten Friday #69 - 碧衣フウ / Aoi Fu

Let me start by saying that the proper romanization is "Fuu" and not "Fu". But, the folder is named in romaji as "Aoi Fu". So, she's Fu.

That looks really awkward, like I'm trying to stop myself from cursing. Can I call her Aoi from this point on? I'm calling her Aoi.

I can't find the icon for the person who uploaded the videos on the Nicovideo page. That's really weird and confusing. I do believe I found her "manager" on YouTube, but there's no actual information about who is behind this UTAU. The only person actually credited that I can find is someone named Linai. They are apparently the voice provider, and I was able to find one video of them singing. Are they the same person as vocaloid0eve? Who knows!

Wiki Wednesday #58 - UTAO!のペティ / project UTAO!'s Pet

Ya know, I don't get these names sometimes. ペティ is pronounced "Petty". Pet would be ペット. UTAO! is upfront that this UTAU's name is Pet, so at least I didn't write half an article before seeing a side note that "woa" is pronounced "or".

Wiki Wednesday #58 - UTAO!のペティ / project UTAO!'s Pet

So, I'm back to one bank UTAUs for the rest of tonight. I'm hoping I can push the articles out to May tonight. I've learned that lack of sleep helps depression. Like, I knew it for years, but I put it into practice today. Sleeping in with depression is so rough. You wake up more tired than you went to bed! Or at least, I do. So, it's 4:30 PM and I should probably be up until 8 PM. So... Short articles like this? I should be able to do this. I really hope I can do this.

Forgotten Friday #68 - Yuge Kikansha

I'm okay! My last entry was written Feb 9, 2020, and it is now the fourth of March. That feels like such a giant hiatus, yet no one would realize it unless I pointed it out. Time goes wonky when you're depressed, so it simultaneously feels like I abandoned the blog for a year, yet it often feels like I abandoned it for just a few days. But, hopefully my month long stretch of only leaving the bed to watch TV is cured.

Forgotten Friday #68 - Yuge Kikansha

Alright, this UTAU doesn't have a Wiki page. It doesn't even have a kanji name. I searched up and down for any information, and there is almost none. I was however able to track down his gender from descriptions from YouTube videos! Yay!

Yuge was made by the same person who made Coco Sukoshi. From what I've seen, Yuge never got his own release. He was just packaged with her, and that was that. Yuge's character file also had no information. So... Well...

Wiki Wednesday #57 - 蓮音こん / Hasune Kon

I don't need to go on and on about this or that because this UTAU has seven banks! I can just focus on rendering off the files and saying approximately fifty words about each one. How hard is it to say fifty words? Purple monkey dishwasher. There you go! Fifty!

Wiki Wednesday #57 - 蓮音こん / Hasune Kon

Another Vegedol! Vegedol is an UTAU collective where UTAU is assigned a vegetable. I was proud of myself for this one. I had no idea what vegetable this chick represented. So I dragged her vegetable icon into the address bar. It said "renkon". So I did some searching, and this UTAU is based off of lotus roots! Not the lotus itself - just the root.

Anyway, I have a lot of samples to analyze, so let's nyoom.

Forgotten Friday #67 - 詩基歌鈴 / Shinomoto Karin

So, I had just finished the Sukoshi Coco article, and I sat down to write this one. I was dizzy and my words were not turning into hand motions. I stood up and looked around my room while I thought. I knew I needed food, but I didn't know what to eat. That's when it hit me. Bland nutrition shake! I love Soylent so much. Instead of worrying about my macros and my nutrients, I just drink a Soylent and bam, I have a well balanced meal in my tummy.

Forgotten Friday #67 - 詩基歌鈴 / Shinomoto Karin

This guy is on row 15 in my spreadsheet, and I opened his UTAU Visual Archive page so many times to see if I would finally write about him. Every time I opened the page, I was like "huh, that looks familiar". I love that the design is traditional art so much.

Now, looking closely at the name, 詩基歌鈴, I can't see it very well. I instantly recognize 基 and 歌, but then there's one that I think looks like 詩, but... Once I typed it out I saw what it was. That just leaves 鈴. I won't learn that until I'm at level 39 on WaniKani, so I don't feel bad about not knowing it means buzzer. Basics of Poetry Song Buzzer. Okay.

Who is Karin Shinomoto?

I have no idea which bank this came with; I took it from the visual archive

Wiki Wednesday #56 - 逆叉ヲア / Sakamata Or

I am so tired. I want to just lay down on the floor and sink into it. I've done nothing today other than eat an entire day of calories before 6AM, but I'm still so tired. Not only am I tired, the depression made my immune system go wonky and I'm sick as heck. Usually, I don't remember depression hitting this hard since meds. I guess my manias are so cute and controlled now, hitting the opposite end of the spectrum suddenly feels... really, really bad. I'm happy! I'm not sad! But it's the quiet kind of content nature that just makes you want to cuddle up to a plushie and sleep.

Wiki Wednesday #56 - 逆叉ヲア / Sakamata Or

Uh so, I read the character information. I ran into "ヲアのアルファベット綴りはorです。" Which directly translated is "Woa's alphabet spelling is 'or'". I don't see how that works with the addition of "wo", but... I guess? I went on for a bit before I knew the intended reading, but I won't delete it because, seriously, this isn't included in any of the readme/character stuff and the site is really, really hard to read (words smol). And my internet is so bad, Google Translate won't translate. I actually have to read it myself!

I mean, two characters per kanji sounds pretty normal. But seeing two kanji expand into four syllables is like "woah". Like how Weight Watchers became WW. Which, if you are Southern like me ("dubya dubya") is only four syllables and not too much worse than the three original syllables. But boy howdy, ya'll fancy yankees out there calling it "Double you Double you".

Why did I write that? I kind of blacked out a bit and forgot where I was writing.

Okay, so this is an aquatic themed UTAU that is a sitemate with Zatou Isa. I accidentally downloaded a different UTAU's English CVVC while I tried to finish that thought, so I forgot where I was going.
