Axfc is a jerk. Here's my post on how to get downloads from there to work.

Multi-pitch CVVC banks do not work properly with the shareware A for automatic button!! Any articles where I complain about CVVC banks being broken is my own fault for not figuring it out sooner!!

Forgotten Friday #51 - ライト音トゥワイ / Tuwai Raitone

I actually was going to write about Onnanoko Hen, but I ran into an issue. I have two banks of hers, but I can only find the download link for one, and you have to go into the Wikia's history tab to find it. The voice provider switched dA profiles without saying what her new one was. She had powerwashed her YouTube profile, but uploaded a video six days ago? I left a comment there to just ask if I should delete the banks or not. I literally have no idea how I found the Act 2 at this point.

Forgotten Friday #51 - ライト音トゥワイ  / Tuwai Raitone

I did a no-no in researching for this article and rehosted a bank. The link was still up, but it went through forumotion and it didn't go through to MediaFire for some reason. So, in the interest of people being able to download the bank, I just made it slightly easier. I imagine Lenexia has no control over forumotion and would have taken the link down if she didn't want people to use it. Lenexia has powerwashed all of her accounts, but left the banks up for download. So, I have a feeling she won't hunt me down and yell at me for reuploading something because forumotion is wonky.

And I know I figured it out previously, because I had the bank to rehost. It's been a few months and maybe something has changed, because I magically had an Onnanoko Hen bank that also just seems like it doesn't exist now. So, I'm just like, huh.

Who is Raitone Tuwai?

This name has a bit to unpack. Raitone is for "light sound", but it's ironic because her voice isn't light. Her first name, Tuwai, is literally just to make a pun on Twilight (but not the books, of course.) Which doesn't really work in Japanese, as you can see from the Japanese name. So, in a roundabout way, her name is Twilight sound, but not the books, of course. I have found no other explanation on what Tuwai means. (I spoke too soon. It's literally just a pun on Twilight, but not the books.)

She is sixteen years old and hates sports. Boy howdy, did I hate sports at sixteen! I still do at nearly twenty-six, but that's beside the point. Her character item is a lollipop that is themed around twilight, with a rising or setting sun. I really don't have much to say, but I think it's safe to say that Tuwai hates people who hurt children.

How are her banks?

I was able to get my hands on two banks, 2.1 and 3 LITE. I won't be lazy and I'll test out both of them. One of her selling points is that she has a large range. Her Act 3 is supposedly more solid, so I'll do something I never do and use two different USTs to test the two different banks.

The first thing I noticed with 2.1 was the fact that her "shi" sample crashed the resampler. Thankfully, the newer versions of Resampler just pick up after crashing. Years ago, it meant UTAU just dying. A lot of tuning was lost to there being no white in the OTO. Her "o" had weird static in it, but that took one second to shift around to fix.

Her voice is so soft and sweet and I absolutely love it.

For 3 LITE I don't know what is happening. I tried fixing the OTOs in parts, but it went really, really wonky. I literally have no idea what's going on with this bank, and I usually know that off the top of my head! I cleared preutterance, overlap, and stp in the UST, and it's still going pop pop cut off pop! Beyond the "I don't know what's going on", it's a really nice voice, but the 2.1 stole my heart already.

Where can I download Tuwai Raitone?

The two download links are on her Wikia page. I love the Act 2.1, I really do. It is so soft and sweet and muffled... But the Act 3 fixes the muffled "issue" really well. I just have no idea what makes it completely ignore the OTO file in certain spots. She's worth trying out in any case!
