I have no idea how it works out like this. I just prefer Wiki Wednesday to Forgotten Friday, even when the Forgotten Friday articles are virtually the same as Wiki Wednesday.
Wiki Wednesday #129 - 伊佐田優志 / Yushi Isada
The UTAU wiki claims that this UTAU has no set character. Well, yes and no. There's a characterization given as a starting point, with "I think this…" "Fans think this…"
However, I won't call out the person who wrote the article, because it's possible those characterizations were posted after the wiki article as posted.
Who is Isada Yushi?
Official Art from Site |
Yushi is probably a student of agriculture and food science, but the guy hates vegetables.
The dude is a crybaby psychopath.
Now, anyone can change him to be anything else. His outfit is weird, though. He has two tone orange and pink hair. He wears a lab coat and holds a clipboard. But his shirt has the union jack on it? His scarf is rainbow colored, his pants are checkered brown, and his shoes are light blue. There are so many questions about these choices.
Now let me tell you what grinds my goat, and this has nothing to do with the UTAU, so you can skip to the next section and I won't be bothered.
So many people talk down about plastic surgery. Criticizing plastic surgery because people get botched extreme plastic surgery is like criticizing tattoos because some people get their entire faces tattooed. It happens, but it's really the fault of the surgeon or tattoo artist for not refusing to do something really bad. There's also the case of going to a developing country and dying because the surgery caused complications. You can get AIDS from getting tattoos from someone who just doesn't care about anything close to sanitization.
Am I against tattoos because of that? No. Tattoos can be stunning works of art that you carry with you throughout life.
I get it being problematic to say that some people just don't like their noses and deserve to be allowed to have them changed to like them more. But some people just don't like their noses. It doesn't have to be some deep story about how their nose reminds them of their abusive parent. They can just not like it.
How much a person likes their nose can be tied to racist societal forces. Encouraging them to change to fit in is bad. But, people are still just allowed to do what they want. If they want to fit in and it will make them happy, why not?
And it's not just noses. A lady with A cups is allowed to want to be a C cup because it would make her happy. It doesn't mean she has body dysmorphia. She sees what's up and knows it will make her feel happier.
And, everyone has to support excess skin removal, right? People who complete the monumental task of losing a whole person worth of fat shouldn't be forced to live in a skin suit that's too many sizes too big. That would be really, really mean.
I personally plan to never get tattoos or plastic surgery because I like my body the way it is. Maybe if I gain two hundred pounds and lose it all, I might really need the skin removal surgery. But I really hope that doesn't happen! I refuse to get Lasik because my vision is my vision, and I don't want it to change.
And, I get that we should all love our own bodies and accept who we are, but I'm pretty sure that's really hard for a lot of trans people. Allowing them to have the effects of the wrong hormones erased with surgery is really, really good and will help them feel like they're in the right body. What's wrong with that?!
How are Yushi Isada's banks?
Yushi has two banks: smart and normal. Smart is a one pitch CVVC, and normal is a two pitch VCV bank. Despite being recorded in 2015, the VCV is a lite VCV.
Normal was recorded first, so we'll look at normal first.
It's a bit on the whinier side, but the pitches blend well and it seems to be a very nice bank.
His CVVC, Smart, is meant to be a whisper bank. It is a really nice bank!
Where can I download Isada Yushi?
His website is really hard to navigate and figure out... So here's the link to his Wiki page.
He is a nice UTAU with nice banks.
