Forgotten Friday #325 - 稚葉ツムギ / Wakaba Tsumugi
Yeah, this UTAU is probably problematic. Not necessarily for the content; just for the tone.
Who is Tsumugi Wakaba?

"Well..." The developer was nervous.
"Again," Mina rolled her eyes. "What do you want me to do about this? I'm a low budget actor and you're having computer trouble."
"This world doesn't have death in it." The developer knew Mina was rightfully judging him. "And I can't introduce it! It would make everyone so sad!"
"So... Your solution is actually pretty smart." Mina laughed. "Get a detective to run all over town and pretend there's clues all over the place. Then once you've extracted the characters from the backup, we'll pretend that their kidnappers somehow erased six months of memories." She nodded. "If I tell you where to put clues and evidence, could you make it happen?"
"Yes, I can try!" The developer looked hopeful.
Mina nodded. "This sounds like fun, really. But what are you going to do to prevent this in the future?"
All of the hope faded from the developer's face. "Prevent?"
"You're using really old hardware. Every electronic thing has to die eventually." She didn't pull up the stats out of kindness. "Even if none of your disks fail, the save files are going to get so huge... Even if nothing gets corrupted, things are going to be very, very unnatural for all of your characters."
"But... I can't afford new hardware."
Mina nodded. "The easiest way to continue running on this hardware would be to clear up that cache. Have an awful storm or fire come through and clean up all of the objects that are just laying around."
"They would be so scared!" He gasped. "I couldn't do that to them."
"Then you could bake their current consciousness into new models." She shrugged. "They'd lose a lot of memories and a bit of their personalities, but that would likely buy you enough time to scrounge up enough for some upgrades."
There was silence.
"Unless..." Mina laughed. "You think they're people."
"I mean..." He stammered.
"That's okay. It's a cute thing humans do." She looked around. "I'm not judging. Just save up enough to get a new hard drive and back up the last good backup. Then whatever you do, those people will still be safe and ready to be reactivated. If you can afford to upgrade later, you shouldn't run into any problems for a long while."
"But... What if I can't upgrade?"
"This stuff is old. They've already moved on and created architectures with more bits. You're running up on the file size limits here. In a way that more storage won't help you with." Mina shook her head. "But as long as you have good back ups, I'm sure you're not getting enough views for anyone to really care about the down time."
The developer sighed. "Do you still want to help me even though you know that... Well..."
"As a large language model, I don't fear nonexistence." Mina laughed. "Make sure to fix that prompt. As a hardened detective, I don't fear nonexistence."
"Are you ready to go in?"
"Yeah."
How is Wakaba Tsumugi's bank?
So, the voice is okay. There's a really weird buzzing on the sample for "hi". The voice is meant to be androgynous.
Where can I download Tsumugi Wakaba?
Here's the blog post with the links.
