Forgotten Friday #407 - Trisha Miraion / 未来音ツリーシャ 

Trisha's fandom page doesn't have much information on her as a character - just on her status as the first FRAloid. Her download page has more information... but...

I'm not epileptic. I believe I did describe myself as that in the past because that's what I was being tested for at the time. It wasn't epilepsy! However, I am still photosensitive, perhaps mostly due to my migraines. The download page for Trisha didn't just hurt my head - it made me feel like I was going to puke. Now here's the thing: FRAloids moved sites. Their new site still makes me woozy with the animations, but their old site was entirely too dangerous. I'm not going to track them down to scold them. I literally have no access to some of my old accounts and can't fix issues that I want to fix. I get letting old things be old.

This really, really wouldn't be a big deal if they just linked to Trisha's download page on their new site instead of the old one on the Wiki... But I think she's soft discontinued. Like she's not deleted, but she's no longer a part of their lineup.

Anyway, all that to say... If you have photosensitivity and you fall in love with this bank, get a friend to download her because my photosensitivity isn't even that severe and I'm still woozy.

Prudence sat at her desk and tapped her fingers against the wooden surface as she tried to make sense of the printed out spreadsheets in front of her. 

"You know you could use a computer!" Jonah chuckled as he entered her office.

Prudence looked up at him blankly. He knew she hated looking at screens. She rolled her eyes. "Look." She pointed at her soft and wrinkle-free face. "Does this look like the face of someone who is nearly five hundred years old?"

Jonah shook his head. "And I don't look like I'm three hundred years old. But why are you so worried about how we look all of the sudden?"

She groaned. "I'm just concerned. I was born like this - never aging past twenty-something. But I made you like this, you know?" She looked back at the papers. "So we could sell it, you know? Virtual immortality. But what would we sell it for? Who would we let have it? At some point, you need to recognize the carrying capacity."

"You never explained how you made me stop aging." Jonah moved closer to lean against her desk. "Was it all you or was there some secret potion you whipped up?"

"All of the ingredients are rare, but they're not extinct..." She looked up at him. "But I need to bless them for it to work. If the potion recipe got out there, I'm sure people would miss that last step. That someone like me is required. The ingredients would go extinct and... That's it."

"I think we need to take up farming." He shrugged. "Unless the location is vital, we could stock pile everything."

She groaned. "Yes, I understand you Jonah. I fully understand your point. I never want to lose my ability to prolong the lives of others... But farming?"

"How about I take that off your hands?" His tone was encouraging. "With witches being exposed, I can get a social security number and apply for a loan without lying about my age. You kept my family Bible, right? That should work as a birth certificate!"

After a moment of stunned silence, something in Prudence broke and she started laughing. "You want to buy land so that you can start a farm? We are in the sunlight for the first time since we should have died naturally and your dream is farming?"

"Well..." Jonah looked away, just a little embarrassed. "Yes. My family were farmers. I was too busy being a very attractive young man to notice that my great-great nieces and great-great nephews were struggling and had to sell the farm. I want to go back in time and buy it and farm there. If I can't... Then maybe I could start over somewhere new."

"Huh." Prudence wasn't used to seeing Jonah show any kind of vulnerability. She nodded. "You'd probably only need a few acres. I think I could get you that with my connections."

Jonah's eyes lit up. He was going to be a farmer!

How is Trisha Miraion's bank?

Trisha's bank, a single one pitch CV bank, was recorded in 2010! It was repackaged in 2014. We are warned that she is a very old bank and isn't up to the standards of modern UTAUs. She sounds very lovely.
