I should be doing one thing. But I want to do a different thing. I have downloaded, well, I had downloaded 30 banks to do for this article series. But I really need to be working on the other article series. So I'm just like I don't know I guess but who knows.

There's three characters. One girl and two eyes that live in her hands. Hoshikuro Is the girl. Okaachan Otoochan are the eyes. That means mother and father, which makes this even creepier. 

There's more information, but that just makes it creepier.

Oh, and the name means red eye family.

I was walking down the hallway to my dorm when a tornado of printed fabrics rushed by. I stopped in my tracks and asked myself why anyone would be wearing a dress made with printed fabrics on a Union ship when she turned and ran back to me.

"You're the freak with no name, right?!"

I took a moment to try and remember if I had ever met her. Her voice was high and lilting like a bird. Her face was also hollow and pinched like a bird. She looked completely human, I mean. She was just very delicate. Her black eyes were wide with terror and her white skin was beaded with sweat.

I started to ask if Katherine had sent her, but I was cut off when she grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards a wing of the ship I had never been to. It was the nursery. I followed her without resistance, but I still tried to explain that Katherine's goal in life was to humiliate me and make people see me as useless. I really, really was not suited for anything Katherine said I could do.

She ignored me. She pulled me into a room with a table that was far too short and roughly situated me across from a child.

The child addressed her. Ms. Mipsy. He asked why she brought me there and who I was. Ms. Mipsy panicked and said that Nancy was here to talk about the bullying. Nancy wasn't a popular girl in school and didn't have friends. The child could tell I was visibly confused. I was popular in school. I started the whole loner thing after I was forced to give up my native language. Also… I was literally wearing a name tag. It said Juana.

Ms. Mipsy fled and left me with the kid. I asked if they knew how to read. They nodded and asked me why she called me Nancy. I shrugged.

I don't know how to deal with children. My mother and father were both only children, so I never dealt with nieces or nephews. I dealt with plenty of teenagers, but it was literally my job to make them miserable and want to quit. Maybe Katherine would finally get her wish to come true. I asked him what development milestones he had reached.

There was silence as he leaned back in his chair. He answered that he was at a "pre-teen" cognitive level. I nodded. He looked tiny.

I didn't expect myself to do well, so I gave up. I asked if he was really smart for his age or if his species physically aged more slowly. His eyes were blank. I expected that. I shrugged. I started complaining about Katherine and how annoying the whole situation was. He was interested in listening and asked a few questions. I answered all of them as nicely as I could. 

I didn't tell him about being from an unimportant moon or losing my language. All he knew was that I was just a woman trying to do my job, being harassed by another woman. I was getting bullied for being good at my job and progressing faster than her. He was smiling as I was wrapping up my story.

I told him that I never reported Katherine because it turned into a game. I had fun seeing what situations I got thrown into. The best part was always hearing how upset she was. I gave a spiel about how it's good to report bad behavior because it can protect others. I even mentioned that I could talk to the Captain if anyone was extra, extra mean. 

How is Akai me Kazoku's bank?

It is a three pitch, two expression CV-VV bank. The voice is less feminine than I was expecting from the design, but it makes sense because the bank is three different characters at once. The bank sounds nice, and the different suffixes integrate well.
