I almost missed a week because things are not good. Don't worry about me, it will get better, but things really, really suck right now.
Forgotten Friday #226 - Sheridan's Nevan
Who is Nevan?

Charlotte nervously tapped her acrylic nails against the side of her cardboard to go cup. She had gotten an extra large coffee with espresso shots. She tried to switch her vaping habit to a caffeine habit while school was in session.
"Sorry I'm late."
Charlotte looked up and tried to feign a laugh as the man came towards her. He was just taller than average with scarily pale skin. He was dressed casually in dark tones and had his prematurely white hair pulled into a ponytail. "Still Sigurd?" Charlotte was trying to make a joke, but instead she just sounded as if she were sincerely asking.
He laughed as he folded his arms in front of his chest. "Last time we spoke, I was trying out Tobias. I kind of like it." He watched as Charlotte's eyes darted about. She tried to be fashionable to a degree, but she still looked dated somehow. Her best attempt at runway ready was more like librarian chic. Though, Tobias couldn't really say anything. He was dressed just as blandly.
"McKenzie Suarez." Charlotte mumbled before taking a sip of her coffee.
"Seraphim." Tobias groaned. "It's not good, Char." He motioned for Charlotte to follow him to a seating area. When she nervously shook her head, he sighed. "Char, I only look like this because it makes you comfortable. We're in a containment zone. We can yell as loudly as we want that magic exists."
Charlotte let out an awkward squawk as she tried to casually laugh. She followed him and sat down on a concrete bench.
Tobias followed her lead and sat across from her, putting his elbow on the table that separated them. "You really aren't comfortable being out as a witch, huh?"
"No!" Charlotte was obviously in emotional distress. "How do you do it?!"
Tobias shrugged. "Didn't you grow up in the system?"
Charlotte looked down at her nails. No more salons until winter break. "Hated it." She groaned. "The second I got my first iPhone, that was it. I would be a normal human."
"Charlotte, do you hate yourself?" Tobias was concerned every time he asked.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. She heard the concern every time he asked, and the answer was always the same. "Duh."
Though, it was more than her just not loving herself enough. It was about stopping children from having her life. She continued, "I don't love myself as much as I love the idea of this stupid system collapsing."
Tobias shrugged. "Doesn't bother me too much."
"Sigurd," Charlotte groaned as she addressed Tobias with his old name. "Think about what it would be like for you! You could be a model! In France!"
"I'm more of a Los Angeles guy." Tobias smirked as he fanned out his fingers while waving his hand in the air. "Can't you tell that I sunbathe?"
Charlotte let out a very annoyed noise as she took another sip of her extremely strong coffee. Tobias was difficult, but she didn't have any other options.
