There is irony in the fact that getting these articles written is the most important thing right now, but I'm writing them to procrastinate doing less important things.
Wiki Wednesday #214 - Amy Murasaki
I miss the original format of the Wikia / Fandom. People complain that the table looks bad and outdated, but all of the information was easy to locate and it forced people to actually input data and think about things that the new format just doesn't force at all.
I think this UTAU is from Argentina, and she has two catchphrases: "You are sweet" and "Don't give up now". She's fifteen, and the only reason I knew her gender was just assuming because "she / her" pronouns were used. Who made her? The Wikia doesn't say, because no one forced them to say. The Wiki Dot forces the input of that information!
She does have a readme file in Spanish. I speak no Spanish, so I'm just going to guess what it means. She is actually fourteen according to the readme and created by Lulita12. She likes singing, k-pop, and the colors black and purple. The only dislike I understood was math. I slapped it into Bing translate to learn that she is kind and shy when trying to make new friends.

George had been acting a bit off. It had been one of those times that we ran out of money during the off season, so we were lucky to find jobs that would take us, even if we were overqualified. But, I was sure he really liked teaching exercise classes to elderly people.
He sat me down on the edge of our bed and knelt down before me. He looked up at me and I was really, really confused. Even though I did consume a lot of Earth media, I never internalized it as something that actually happened.
He nervously pulled his click box out of his pocket and started nervously explaining. "I love this life I have with you, and I don't want it to end… but we are getting older."
I slowly nodded. The Union for some reason saw fit to celebrate birthdays based on the Earth calendar. We were both twenty-seven or so years old.
"I want to be with you forever, but I think it's time we settle down…" He sat down the click box and pulled a large box out of his pocket. He turned it towards me and opened it.
My breath hitched. In the box was the most gaudy and obnoxious diamond I had ever seen. I kick myself looking back, because I had no idea he was proposing. To me, he was just randomly sitting on the floor and holding up a ring. We met eyes and he started laughing. Between the laughs he explained in English. "I thought this idea was awful!" He looked back towards the door and shouted out, "I was right!"
The door opened and Madia shuffled in. She obviously looked embarrassed. For some reason, that made it click. I excitedly nodded and tried to say 'yes' in English. He stood and took my hand before sliding the ring onto my finger. I threw my arms around him and laughed.
When he pulled away from me, I ran to Madia and nearly knocked her down by hugging her.
George had picked up the click box. "I knew that you wouldn't be happy with the ring…"
I turned and he was holding a small band out. I gently stepped towards him and picked it up. It was small and silver with just five small stones - black, white, red, white, black. It hit me that it was based on the outfit I was wearing the first time he saw me. I held it close to my heart as my legs just gave out and I blubbered on the floor. He sat next to me and hugged me tightly.
I recovered enough to stop crying for a moment. I looked up at Madia and called out in Aaiiu "Get over here!"
She joined the pile and I felt complete. Every moment of agony and anguish over being abandoned was gone in that moment. Even at that instant in time, I knew it would come back. But not at this very second. The only two people who really mattered were with me, and we were all happy.
