Woo-hoo! I did it! It's December 18th, 2024 and all of the wiki Wednesday articles for 2025 are scheduled out!
Wiki Wednesday #356 - Lino Kumiko / リノ久美
I'm confused about her name. Lino is in katakana and her Western name is listed as Lino Kumiko. Kumiko looks like a given name (first name) though. I'm confused!
Lino is an eighteen year old woman.
Who Is Kumiko Lino?

It looks like all I need to do is push myself to write one thousand more words. Then... Once I get to processing articles, I'll be able to push this feature out until January of 2025. I still need to write all of the other feature, but that's so cool to think of half of the blog being done for an entire year.
Writing fiction is harder than just writing a diary entry.
I don't take this blog seriously, but the blog is also somehow the most pressing thing in my life. I've given up on basically every creative thing. I only draw to make silly comics. I only make a YouTube video when there's something specific I want to show someone.
But this blog? I gotta do it. It's important!
Part of the importance is the fact that it's not like trying to make weekly YouTube videos. It's not like trying to learn how to draw in an anime style. It's something that I can do. It's something that I can do when I'm well and pretend doesn't exist for months at a time. I'm excited to work on it!
The best part is the feeling of accomplishment. The second best part is just feeling like I'm unearthing things that almost no one has any idea about.
What causes someone to like an utau is different for everyone. You can just be in love with the silliest little characters! Just because an utau only has one bank doesn't mean you can't love them as much as an utau with fifty five pitch kire banks.
I hope that people have fallen in love with UTAUs that I have covered that they would have never heard of before.
Did you know that when I started this, I actually had kind of strict rules.
For Forgotten Friday, I could only cover an UTAU that hadn't been used in a certain amount of years. This meant it couldn't be a new utau because that would have been used before the cut-off.
For Wiki Wednesday, I could not cover anything from before a certain date. That was Forgotten Friday! I couldn't cover anything with more than a certain amount of views on YouTube. One lucky break could be ignored as an outlier.
But now? I ask "have I covered this before?" If I haven't, it's free game!
My cut off for Forgotten Friday was five years from the beginning. That made sense in 2018. 2013 FEELS ancient! But now, five years ago is basically the year 2020. That's so insane, isn't it? 2020 was just yesterday. Maybe that's why I've just started sometimes covering old UTAUs on Wiki Wednesday. Wiki Wednesday comes from a wiki, Forgotten Friday is just an amorphous blob of the concept of old.
Just five hundred more words and I can get started... Technically, I have enough segments about mochi for this to be posted in 2025 I think.
But silly self imposed goals are still goals I want to reach!
How Is Lino Kumiko's bank?
Kumiko has a one pitch CV bank. She has a lovely voice.
Where Can I download Kumiko Lino?
You can find her on her wiki page. She's cool!
