Forgotten Friday #356 - 美濤音フエ / Minamine Hue

I gotta say Fue Minamine / Minamine Fue just in case someone searches using the direct Romanization. 

Hue is a teenage girl. Her art isn't "not safe for work", but some may consider it inappropriate given her stated age.

"I did it!" Wilma cried out. "I met the deadline!"

Everyone in the office briefly looked at her then went back to their own work.

Her boss walked up to her desk. Ted was nice to her. Way nicer to her than anyone else was. "So, you got any plans now that you've got a week of doing nothing?"

"Are you kidding?" She laughed. "I'm going to get another assignment."

"I might have them hold off on that, Will." He shook his head. "Why don't you go and get us some donuts?" He handed her some cash. 

Wilma nodded as she took the money.

She felt a panic attack coming on as she got on the elevator. She was a master at defusing them. 

She had to work. She needed the money, but that wasn't it. She needed to be doing something to take her mind off of the pain. 

She was too awkward. She didn't forsake love and family for her career. She could never date. She was abjectly horrible at it. She said something wrong. She did something unattractive.

She didn't even have parents hounding her for grandkids. Instead, they were adamant that they never wanted another child in their house. It wasn't her fault, though. It was all of the extended family that never taught their kids not to destroy things.

She was going to buy donuts then march up to the office and politely ask to be put on the help desk until the next project rolled in. She would be helping people even if the work was less intense! 

She knew that Ted would gently encourage her to not take it on, but his bosses were always thrilled. She was salaried. There was no overtime. The help desk was always understaffed. They appreciated the extra effort. 

Once the elevator doors opened, she walked out into the lobby. She tried not to look around and let herself think. She needed to stay focused and rehearse the same speech she always used. 

It was a formality. She could just go in there and say "help desk?" They would give her a headset and push her out of the office. But she had so little reminding her that she was an adult. Adult formalities were one important thing that she refused to let go of. 

When she entered the donut shop, the employee behind the counter called out, "Aye Will! Probably gotta say congrats!"

Wilma softly laughed as she put the money on it counter. "You know it."

The employee was a handsome man. Younger than her. Sometimes she imagined quitting her job and just making donuts at this very shop. And that's why she stopped dating. She learned exactly how creepy the things she said could come off, but she didn't know how to stop saying them unless she said nothing else at all.

She wanted to say something that was witty and not borderline creepy. She couldn't, so she smiled nicely.

How Are Minamine Hue's banks?

So! There are four banks that I could find. There is Polaris and Twinkle. Then there are two with Korean names. These are giant banks with a lot of love put into them!

Polaris has eight sets of VCV. Four pitches of normal and four pitches of weak. This bank has a very wide emotional range and the voice is beautiful!

We Can look at twinkle next. Twinkle is just a four pitch VCV. Her voice is still nice!

The one with only one Korean word in the name is Stardust. It is another four pitch VCV bank. UTAU flips out and refuses to open the folder with Korean in the name, so you gotta change that if you're on OG UTAU. She is very powerful!

Finally, we have the one with three different Korean words in the folder name. This one, I think you could download the appends separately. This one probably means "light" and it includes weak and whisper four pitch VCV banks. I gotta break into some of my old USTs for this one... Her voice is so beautiful!

Okay You know how I said finally? Through the readme for light, I found her webpage. Only Polaris is present of the banks I've covered, but there are two more. 

Limeaid is a Korean CV Bank with six pitches. Because Korean was too scary to learn to pronounce, I have zero material for a tester UST... So here she is singing Japanese.

Now finally finally, there's Sheoques. When I searched that word, the first result was... Seroquel. I guess bing really knows me. But scrolling past the medicine, we find that Sheoques are Irish faeries. This is a Six pitch CV bank. Her voice is very nice, but some of the consonants are very faint.
