Forgotten Friday #408 - Hane Tsukasa / 羽音ツカサ

So, I went on an adventure. I thought this 16 year old guy was discontinued, but no. I just wasn't looking hard enough!

Roscoe couldn't help but feel nervous as he twisted his ball cap between his hands. Right as the door opened, he realized he was still wearing sunglasses. 

Mina was confused as she looked up at him. She knew she was rather short, but Roscoe towered over her. She knew from his letter that he wanted in the lab with as little noise as possible so she stepped out of the way and gently closed the door once he had darted in. 

It was just a small university lab. There was nothing special. Nothing worth guarding or even worth visiting. All of the research grants were virtually just gifts from donors who wanted their alma mater to seem more prestigious.

"So..." Mina turned back to her computer to type in a few values before facing Roscoe again. "You really found me from my paper on the densities of various homemade corn syrup recipes?" She paused and nervously glanced him up and down. "Why?"

"I want to rebel against the Fae." His voice was soft and shaky to go along with his thin frame and messy short black hair. 

Mina was shocked for a moment. That would have been such a powerful sentiment if she knew what 'The Fae' was. She shook her head once she regained her composure. "I don't think I have equipment to rebel with. And I can't get anything unless it's discounted on Alibaba. So..."

Roscoe dropped his ball cap and in one fluid motion pulled off his sunglasses.

Mina's breath hitched as his hair grew and became silvery. Her eyes widened as he grew taller and his skin began to take on an inhuman tint. She swooned when his blood red eyes made contact with her. She shook her head and turned away as soon as she came to her senses. "Witch stuff?"

"What is magic but poorly defined science?" Roscoe's voice had changed. It was deeper and felt like a warm blanket to Mina. 

She rolled her eyes. She was a grown woman. She wasn't going to get distracted by... As she was turning, she was taken aback by Roscoe's form. 

"I'm not human!" He held up his hands defensively. "I am an elf!"

Mina stared blankly until she started laughing. That's what she needed to do. Look at him and imagine Elf on the Shelf. She still looked away from him so that it was easier. "Well, why? Why would science be so horrible it would be considered rebellion?"

He was uncomfortable. "You see, the Fae..."

Mina shook her head and turned back to her computer. She clicked on random empty spaces just to look busy. "Honestly? I'm sure that plenty of large universities would be very happy to help you rebel. What would I do here?"

"No..." He shook his head slowly. "They own those universities. They have always had anti-elf forcefields!"

Mina furrowed her brow. What? What did that even mean?!

"But... There isn't one here."

How are Hane Tsukasa's banks?

Tsukasa has three available banks. There is the CV (only on the wiki), his VCV, and a Chinese bank. There is a demo for a CVVC bank, but that is not available as far as I could see.

I've done a lot of work with Mandarin lately, but I use XSAMPA so I don't know what's going on with the Syo list. The voice is nice.

We can look at his CV bank next. The copy I downloaded seemed to have some corrupted files. Again, the voice is very nice.
