Axfc is a jerk. Here's my post on how to get downloads from there to work.

Multi-pitch CVVC banks do not work properly with the shareware A for automatic button!! Any articles where I complain about CVVC banks being broken is my own fault for not figuring it out sooner!!

Wiki Wednesday #157 - Kloudberry's Sylva / シルバ

Man, my internet is slow. I have dreams of moving to the medium-sized city and having good internet. Funny story, though. I've never had good internet. My ex's parents had good internet and we would watch Netflix there, but the room we rented literally didn't have wifi.

Wiki Wednesday #157 - Kloudberry's Sylva / シルバ

I love this design. It's really, really pretty. It's just a nice, slightly retro red-orange dress and with black accessories. Sylva is a very bright and upbeat twenty-one year old woman. She loves making people smile, but she does get annoyed at her brother's lame jokes.

Who is Sylva?

Official Art by Mili
Hey there! It's your favorite fictional Franz!

Last week, I told y'all about my first time talking to my wife.

I was just giving her noises of recognition when she was telling me all about Olympus Mons. I was a little afraid she'd think I was being dismissive, but I just didn't want to interrupt her. Besides her voice being beautiful, she was poetic in a sense. I wish I could remember her words exactly, but I was too busy being wrapped up in her musings to remember.

There was a buzz as we were snapped back to the public radio band and given instructions to head to the transport vehicle.

When we were all in the transport vehicle, she raised her visor and I gasped loud enough you could hear from inside my helmet. She was the sad, quiet girl from the back of the classrooms. With a smile on her face, she was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen.

We waited until graduation to get married. I didn't have to find a job, I was given one. She fought getting placed at a job by saying that she was planning on becoming a mother. Magically, it worked. She did work even harder than everyone else on her art and writing. She gave everything to my mother, who worked with her contacts on Earth to have it published and to manage the rights. Even though my wife was on Mars and never knew it, she was one of the most beloved authors on Earth.

Her finding out that her works had made millions, if not billions, of dollars hidden away in savings accounts changed her for the better. When we escaped Mars for Earth, she became more radiant and self confident than she had ever been before.

I figure a good majority of men would be embarrassed. She was successful in ways I could never hope to be, but I was happy. I got a job as a professor and loved it. I was living my dream, and she was living hers.

We're both retired now. She still writes some, and I occasionally do guest lectures. I wish our daughter lived closer to us, but that's life. We video call with her all the time, and that makes it a lot easier.

My daughter is wonderful, and she even retired at a very young age! She lives in the Gulf Restoration Project in what used to be Florida. She does so much volunteer work, she works harder than me and her mother, all for free! It's a little shocking to even hear that, because her mother and I weren't relatively active or fit enough to do handyman work even at her age.

I guess that's really all there is to say about me. Originally, I was going to hand this back to Mae. However, there's someone else who has been very much wanting to have her own voice. Whereas my story has been written out, hers has only played out in someone's head. Like me, she never really got a chance to speak her feelings.

If you thought me being from the Fourth Millennium was crazy, the next lady writing for this section is from so far in the future, she doesn't even know what year it is on Earth!

I had so much fun speaking with you all! Maybe we'll talk again someday.

How is Sylva's bank?

The OTOs are a little strange with weird mistakes.

Okay I'm going against the spirit of the blog. This is a Japanese CVVC bank, but I'm making her sing English for the sample, using the best resampler. Her voice is extremely lovely! It's youthful while still being strong and rich. Her tone is rather strong, so she may be resistant to more extreme tuning. But I'm really happy with the sample I rendered off for her!

Where can I download Sylva?

The question is... should you download Sylva? yes. Very yes. If you want to be the best UTAU tuner you can possibly be, learning CVVC is a huge step towards that. Other than OTO issues, I have found no problems with this bank. She is perfect and I love her, and you should love her too. So, you should head on over to her Wiki page and mash that download link!
