Wiki Wednesday #176 - keen's A0I
A0I was completely revamped into a new character. The most recent revision says that she loves cats and hates candy. She originally loved off the shoulder tops and hated that her skin would chip off because robots?
The design I was able to find is 100% wrong, but I just can't find the right one.

She looked genuinely upset when I told her how I got my surgery. My mother convinced the government of my moon to allow me to enlist. I had the surgery and went into training. If I had decided I couldn't handle it, they wouldn't have ripped out my new vocal cords.
She took a deep breath to keep from crying, but I could hear the emotion in her whistles. She had lobbied the same way. Her planet was fully unwilling to join the Union in any form. It took so much just to allow the tourism board in, she couldn't handle trying to lobby to join the Union.
We both looked away from each other. I didn't know what to say until it hit me. I turned to her and grabbed her hand. She looked at me, shocked. I asked her if she'd like to immigrate.
She rolled her eyes and looked away. I picked up my phone and dialed my mother.
My mother wasn't exactly happy to be woken up in the middle of the night, but I could hear her light up as I told her I was on vacation. I explained the situation to her.
The server gasped as she listened to my mother explain. I smiled and nodded my head as my mother explained how she had gotten a few non-Union members into the Union by letting them live on our moon. Considering the server was already registered with the tourism board, it would just be a matter of paperwork and a year of living on our moon. Then, even if she was outright denied, she could still get the surgery in preparation to prove her fitness.
The server was sobbing as I said goodbye to my mother. I turned the translator back on and asked her if she had any friends or family she would miss. She shook her head as she covered her face with her hands.
I cut my vacation short so that I could take her home. We decided that she would live in my childhood bedroom and do any work my mother needed.
As we were sitting next to each other on the trip to my home, she blankly stated that we never even asked each other's names. I hummed. I didn't have my Clickbox on me, so I couldn't tell her my actual name. I grabbed the ID from my bag to see which name I was assigned at that time. I looked back at her and told her my name was Cara, but it would probably be different next time we spoke.
She nodded before telling me that her name meant some esoteric religious thing that there was no English word for. She said it for me in the common dialect of her language. I laughed a bit and told her it sounded like the name of a country - Seychelles. That made her smile. She told me that she was excited to say her new name with her own voice.
Seychelles got her surgery, and then immediately sent herself to the sick bay saying that she wasn't mentally strong enough for service. She went back home to my mother. She worked harder than anyone else my mother had ever hired and sang at every opportunity. Seychelles eventually began traveling and working as an English teacher.
It's crazy how life can just change because of one person making one random choice. I'm happy for her.
How is A0I's bank?
Confusing? There are two versions, but I only downloaded the second because it looked like it was just a revision with new otos and fixed r samples.
It is a one pitch cv, except all of the vowels and the w line have a C#4 pitch? Huh. They aren't OTO'd and there is no suffix, so let's pretend that they don't exist.
Her voice is very kawaii, which is distinct from cute. It is a little muffled and high pitched.
