Who Is Ayamu Ryokune?
Art from site |
Nina bought a haunted typewriter. It was aesthetic. She was newly thirty-five and had given up on love and a fulfilling career. She was happy working at the grocery store. But she needed something in her life to really care about.
She wasn't creative. She wasn't necessarily smart. Utilizing hand eye coordination tired her. She couldn't come up with a single hobby until she realized that decorating could be her hobby. She'd make her house immaculate then throw parties where she could be interesting for once! No creativity needed. Just copying Pinterest boards.
The typewriter was very aesthetic. It was completely broken, but that definitely wasn't the point.
At least, she thought it was broken until she was carefully arranging silk flowers around it. She heard the keys clack. She hurried to the other side of the table. On the paper loaded into the typewriter, it said "boo."
She laughed. She wasn't a serious person. Yeah, this was probably a haunted typewriter. But that was quirky. She was hoping to replace her bland personality with being quirky.
The typewriter started typing again. 'Fear me!!'
She shook her head and laughed harder.
'I will make a lot of noise if you don't fear me!' the typewriter was extra loud as the keys clunked down.
"I'm sorry, typewriter." Nina shrugged. "It's hard to scare me. You see, when you don't have much to live for, you don't have much reason for fear."
There was silence. Then the typewriter slowly and quietly typed out: 'that's depressing :('.
"Oh," Nina laughed. "Do you want to actually hear something depressing?"
She ignored the typewriter typing 'no.'
She knew she just naturally had an unfavorable personality. But... The typewriter couldn't leave, right? She began talking about all of the sad things that had ever happened to her.
'please stop.'
She was on her way to explaining the nuances of picking out the perfect dress for a dance.
'no, I do not care.'
She was going on a tangent about how she had always wanted to be around horses until she had to live through one breaking his leg.
'really, lady, please stop.'
She wouldn't stop. She refused to stop. She crushed herself into a socially acceptable box where she wasn't allowed to compare the minute details of which sanitary napkins were the best. She was going to pour all of her maladjusted musings into this new, stationary, captive friend.
'fine!! I get it!! I'm not haunted anymore. I'm gone. Goodbye.'
Nina shrugged. What was the point of stopping? She hadn't talked this much in a year. She wasn't stopping.
'okay I lied! I can't leave, I'm stuck here. For the love of all that is holy, please stop!!"
"Nope." Nina shrugged. "I can't do this to people. Even if I just did it to one person, word would get around. Who are you going to tell? I can just move you to my room so no one can read what you're writing at parties."
'no :('
How Are Ryokune Ayamu's banks?
Ayamu has had some of his banks deleted. What remains are two one pitch CV banks and a one pitch VCV bank. The VCV bank is using a strange list that is halfway between lite and full.
Actor 1 CV has very short consonants and those can make for a choppy cv bank. His voice is pretty!
Actor 2 CV still struggles with short consonants. I just felt like it so I used some C+V tricks to fake VC to make him smoother. Doing that fixes my issue and he sounds great!
Finally We have his VCV. I do try to not comment on otos too much these days, but these vcv have a lot of overlap set to zero. This bank is from 2016. What's up with that?! There's a weird glitch on the 'a な' sample. I swapped in nya there. He has a nice voice though!
Where Can I download Ayamu Ryokune?
You can find him on his official site!
