Last week, I ended with a question. Why, of all the soups, do us Southerners call the air on our hot summer nights pea soup? 

The answer is because Americans steal from the British and do it rather poorly at times.

Pea soup fog was a phenomenon that occured when Londoners used coal to do literally everything. All of the pollution caused there to be a fog the color of pea soup. Literally a big kind of yellow fog that smelled awful and seeped into your house.

When we say the air is pea soup at night, it's just regular fog that sticks to your skin and makes you extremely aware of the air around you. No color, no awful smell, just being uncomfortable.

There's a good chance that someone from around here will read this and think... No, we do not call it that. Why do you think we call it that? 

And the answer would be... I don't know. My memory is so awful, I have no idea why I think or do things sometimes.

I was trying to think of an example, but I couldn't think of one. Bad memory, I figure. 

I did two of those round up videos last night. Where I play all of the audio files I put up here while the icon for the UTAU is on the screen. I was really relieved that I had gotten past the stuff I had written when I was in a kind of relatively dark place where I was somewhat convinced that I had a mental portal that allowed me to talk to people from a different dimension.

I'm scared of falling back into that. I have a few pretty sharp memories of how disordered I was at the time... And that's something given my default state. 

I'm really happy that I got past all of that. There's a lot less stress in my life now and I'm happy about that!

Though... I still have trouble believing I ever left Tennessee sometimes. I was a very different and even more unhinged person back then. 

But now I'm happy, I have money to eat nice foods, and I can just buy new electronics if I want to buy new electronics. 

It is a little funny though. I still want to hold onto my current phone for as long as possible despite being able to upgrade. This phone is coming up on five years. Definitely I should have replaced it by the time this is posted. If I haven't... Keeping a phone for five years seems almost impressive given how I was going on about how you just need to replace your electronics these days. Even right now, a year before this is posted, it's only usable because I can sit in bed and charge it while using it. The battery is just draining really, really fast now. 

The constantly crashing? Restarting isn't too horribly difficult. I can cope. But the battery?! Yeah, if I left the house more than once a month, I would need to upgrade immediately.

How Are Merin's banks?

Merin has three banks. Let's look at English. The otos were automatically generated. Some things seem to be missing. I gave up fixing the oto but the voice is nice!

Next we can look at extra sweet. I... Am too tired to figure out if this is a me problem, a tablet problem, or a bank problem but... Okay I'm silly. I switched resamplers because the voice was playing wrong. I checked and the otos were off enough that it was a mess! Anyway, lovely voice.

Finally there is soft. The same oto problem persists. The voice is very lovely though.
