"What is wrong with you?!" An older Sterile man was screaming at Euaen. Aruan was doing her best not to look smug. She was beyond playing dumb. They knew who she was.

"There has not been a single miserable moment in your pathetic life that I have not regretted your existence." She was Euaen's adopted mother. It took all of Aruan's restraint to not point and laugh at Euaen.

"But...! You heard the offer! How could we walk away from that money?!" Euaen threw his hands into the air. He gestured at the police officer and asked, "Am I crazy for wanting money?!"

His mother leaned in with her hand on the desk as Euaen sat across from her. Her voice was calm but dripping with venom. "No amount of money can replace respect. And revealing animals like her?" She jerked her head towards Aruan for a moment. "That. That does nothing but erode respect for us." She narrowed her eyes. "They think she's a person because of you. Do you know how stupid that makes you?"

Aruan pinched herself to stop herself from laughing. It wasn't the medical studies and scientific papers that made people see her as a person. It was surely standing next to a Sterile that made her look like a person.

"I knew you were a mistake." His father's eyes drilled into him. "I told your mother... This one is bad. But we didn't throw you off a cliff. We thought we could save you. We couldn't... So we put you with the animals where you couldn't harm our standing." He growled, "but you did this? Do you know how much this affects our life?"

Aruan could have let it go on. She was enjoying it. But Euaen looked like he was going to rip himself in two with only his mind. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and started typing into the translator app.

"I don't know what we will do with you..." His mother looked away from him. "You're disgusting."

Aruan stood and cleared her throat. She pressed the play button. "You may find Euaen disgusting. But I do not. You can simply make it a crime for him to trespass upon your land. For he has a home. For he has me. We have fallen in love. Beyond love."

Euaen was in shock as he stared at Aruan. He didn't understand. He didn't love her! 

"I will take him to my home and we will live there in love. If a person is to love an animal, do you believe them to be a person?" The translator's voice was just as emotionless as Aruan felt. "Leave the animals with the animals. Do not concern yourself with them. He is now mine. I love him."

In the confusion, Euaen stood and grabbed Aruan by the shoulders. He pulled her close and pressed his mouth against hers.

She pulled away and stopped herself from yelling at him. 

How is Yumi Torine's bank?

We were told we were going to get an act 2, but I don't think that happened. She at least has her one pitch CV bank. There is no oto file. She still has a nice and childish voice.
