Sometimes stuff happens that makes me reflect on my brain. It's a very silly brain.
I play this site called Pokefarm Q. It's February of 2025 as I write this. The Valentine's event is just now ending and I got like 50,000 sweethearts this year. Without knowledge of the game, that's meaningless. Well... It's a lot. I think I got like 10,000 last year and I thought that was a lot.
So, for 2,400 credits you can send someone twelve sweethearts. For 800 credits, you can send four. There's other stuff, but I saved up my credits for this. I put together two lists of people. One had around 1,000 and the other had over 3,000. Most of the people on that first list were also on the second. So I sent everyone on those lists four sweethearts. If they sent me any in return, I sent them 12 sweethearts. Some people sent a ton back, so I sent a ton back to them. I got like thirty custom sprite Pokemon out of it also.
So... I think most people don't make a list of 3,000 people to enjoy the Valentine's event. I think I've spent ten million credits on it. I don't even really use the sweethearts and I don't plan on selling them. No one needs that many! I don't need that many!
But I need to input names into a form. I just gotta. Just like there's no reason to push this blog out as far as I can.
I miss my old project that was even more unhinged and I spent hours on. So I set up an email alert every time an utau video was posted on YouTube. I would open each link and comment on the video. Of course I listened to like twenty seconds of each song! Which sounds bad, but there were so many videos posted every day. If I listened to more than that, my life would have been only utau videos.
The reason I quit was because there are just bad people in the fandom. I was putting myself at risk by just being literally kind to everyone because... You know. Not everyone is nice and not everyone has good intentions.
I just really, really like doing boring and seemingly pointless things. The thing about the sweethearts and YouTube comments is that the person getting those things can feel happy that they got them. I really like spreading happiness!! I spent too much of my life spreading negativity!!
This is why I love making Diffsinger models so much. It's boring work that feels pointless... But it has the potential to make people very happy!!
I could make more people happy by offering OTO files given how hard it is to get people to record for Diffsinger, but Praat has ruined me. There's no program for making OTO files that feels as good as Praat. Though, technically, I could figure out a method and a script... I mean, it could be easy for VCV at least…
How are Ichine Kwai's banks?
Kwai has three banks.
Her ACT 1 is a single pitch CV. The voice is sadly rather robotic due to the very short consonants struggling to overlap, but the voice is still cute.
Next is get her three pitch CV, act 1.5. This bank is great and fixes the issues of the previous bank!
Finally, there is C + V English. I... I forgot how to even do that.
