Stacy felt like her insides were going to explode out of her as her craft came to a skidding stop. She sat as still as she could as she heaved. Her hands were shaking as they pressed against the walls. 

She knew something had to be wrong. The screens were showing some kind of pastoral daydream. She looked down at the readings. She was... On a planet? She was in deep space running from a Union Attacker. But the readings showed that the air was... Ideal? 

She just looked up at the ceiling, her breath finally starting to even out. She called out "begin equalization procedures."

With a beep, the walls started hissing. She continued to just look up as the roof of the craft reached up. She looked over at the widening crack and froze. Grass? There was grass?

The nostalgic strench of beasts of burden filled the craft. She slowly pulled herself out of the craft and stood. She... Was standing in a field. The beasts were simply chewing cud as calmly as they could. She looked up at the sky and slowly realized that it wasn't real. It was lights hidden by a blue diffuser. She looked around and saw a group of people. 

They looked strange. Not in the way that one alien species would look to another one. She could just hand-wave it if she had seen only one of them... But they looked as if there hadn't been enough genetic diversity. They all had the same straw colored hair and virtually transparent skin. The same large chins and noses.

She didn't know what she was supposed to do. She awkwardly laughed and limply held up her hand. "What were you doing in deep space?"

They looked at each other and started speaking. She was confused.

One of them stepped forward and said something she couldn't understand. She did remember her speculative evolution of language class. Maybe with enough vowel shifts, the strange person was asking if she was American? 

She pointed at herself and called out, "I'm Union."

The people huddled together and spoke excitedly. She could almost make out the word they were saying the most. "Ark Eng."

One of them scurried over to her. "Hark!" He looked so excited "Yonder window break!"

"And Juliet is the West and whatever," she was confused. There was an excited giggling from everyone else. 

The boy smiled brightly. "I study Ark Eng."

She slowly nodded. "Can... You find someone who is fluent?"

There was an awkward pause. She rephrased. "Do you know someone who speaks well?"

He nodded and took her hand. She instinctively flinched. She had seen extremely pale people, but she could actually see the bones under his skin. She recovered and let him lead her off of the field and into a tunnel. 

She didn't know where she was or why she was there. All she could hope was that this Ark English was understandable to her. If not... She was going to be very lost.

How is Yuna Naishi's bank?

It is a folder of wav files and literally nothing else. The one pitch CV bank isn't missing anything important at first glance, but it's strange to not have anything else. But uh... The poor baby is missing consonants. 

Look, I do my best to always be positive, but this bank would require some heavy work to be usable. There are good parts! But... Without contacting the voice provider for permission to use splicing to get the bank to a usable state, there aren't many options.

Anyway, here's me trying with C+V. It's possible that she may have better choices for the vowels.
