Wiki Wednesday #34 - 多紀音ういな / Uina Takine
Uina's voice provider is called Planet. Planet got the Twitter handle of BroadConcept, and I'm over here like, that's really lucky that you could get that handle! That's really cool. So, yeah, let's get to the article.
Who is Takine Uina?

Uina is an alien from a planet that is 30,000 light years away. She is only twelve years of age and loves playing with machines. She struggles a bit on Earth because her senses work differently than human senses. While someone tastes something bitter, she could taste the same thing and it be sweet.
Her real name isn't Takine Uina, but that's what she named herself.
How is her bank?
Uina has a three pitch CV bank. She had no prefix map, so I had to make one quickly. That's when I realized that, whoops, prefix map only works if the names of the samples are in the alias. I can either enter all of the arrows by hand or edit the OTO file. Guess which I did? If you know me, you know my answer is almost always to edit the OTO file!
Oddly, not all of her samples have three pitches. Some only have the base pitch. I won't think on that too long. It literally sounds like reverb was added to make her sound like an alien, which is weird. Either that or the mic was not having it that day. It is super adorable and does sound like a cute little alien.

On her official distribution page! You can also cheat and get the link directly from her UTAU Wiki page, but I don't know exactly how I feel about them listing the download links directly. It is really helpful, but it's also... I don't know. I really don't know.
This is an adorable UTAU with an adorable voice, but the robotic, processed nature of it might scare you away. If you like "out of this world" UTAUs, this girl is for you.
