Oh look, it's zombie virus KAITO.

So, since I break these up, and there's no telling when the last usa utau article was, usa utau is a collaborative effort with over one hundred collaborators. 

They are a mixed bag. Sometimes their art is stunning. Sometimes it is bad. Sometimes their characters are compelling. Sometimes they make no sense. You literally never know what you're going to get with them.

Most of the ones I have written about lately are "virtual bodies". They tend to be either viruses, junk data, or hacked copies of vocaloids. Because of that, they tend to be a bit flat as characters. But, you know, sometimes they end up being way more than you expected.

Who is Meito?

But Meito probably is just a flat as you expected. 

He's a sociopath. He only cares about his own needs, and makes fun of other people for even having emotions.

He's… well, he has an eye on his hand and a mouth on his neck. His outfit is if KAITO was a zombie, all in shades of black and white with a bit of red thrown in. 

He has a stalker and can unlock anything just by waving his finger around. He also likes sneaking around and spying on people.

There are a hundred people working on this, and I have no idea if they have a cohesive idea about how virtual bodies work. Can Meito leave the computer and spy on people? Because he hates people touching him. These are questions that are likely answered elsewhere, and then answered differently somewhere else. 

It is all so confusing if you try to process it, and all simple if you just take it as what it is. Someone wanted a KAITO OC with a burnt face and an eye on his hand that he can see out of. But I'm not the kind of person who wants to accept the simple answer! 

Anyway, I have like three hundred more words to burn through. Stacey Silva is pretty, dang it. She got her own show with her sister Darcey called… Darcey & Stacey. Real clever naming right there, TLC.

I spent an entire season of 90 Day Fiance just feeling bad that Darcey got all of that work to stave off aging, and it looked unflattering. But, it's assumed that Stacey has had all the same work, and she's a stunner for her age! Her lips would look better with less filler, but losing your lips as you age is really upsetting for a lot of women. I get that!

Almost constantly on the first episode, and in the previews, Darcey seems like she's trying to one-up Stacey and she just seems so mean. Even her own father called Darcey a problem child in nicer words. Darcey just seems so mean, and her personality shows on her face! I was so confused why Stacey's nose looked perfect and Darcey's was shaped strangely, but then I realized that it's just that evil grin Darcey has when she's trying to be better than Stacey. 

But yeah, I had no idea what a jerk Darcey was. When it was about Tom or Jesse, she was sympathetic and in the right. Tom freaking sucks. He dragged Darcey to New York to call her fat. But seeing Darcey be mean to Stacey and talk about Florian being Tom with an evil grin just made me so upset for Stacey. She's hitting the road to welcome the man she has loved for five years to America. Darcey should be filling her head with good luck and well wishes at that moment!

How is Meito's bank?

As you can guess, Meito has one CV bank. His OTOs are a little wonky, but I haven't found any bank breaking errors. His voice is pretty nice. It sounds like a teen guy voice. It almost toes the line of being a jiisan bank, but it's just a little too youthful for that. It's not a bad voice at all! But it's also extremely unremarkable, hence the short sample.

It can be noted that the liquid consonants are rather short, meaning that it will never really feel smooth, sadly.

You can download him from his distribution page. He's okay if you really like this voice type and are a collector, but if you aren't obsessed with this voice type, you can find better banks.
