Forgotten Friday #213 - 結唄ユア / Yuuta Yua
Now, I'll tell you - in the time where I lived, Japanese was a dead language. I was nervous to help with Japanese banks like this, because I can't understand anything, and the characters just look strange. However, at least I do have Mae's help... and the help of automatic translation. So, I figured, when something has got to be done, you help out as much as you can!
The website is hard to navigate, so if you want to find Yua, you need to know that she is UI 4. Yua is sixteen, and nothing about her character is set in stone, so her personality can be whatever you want.
Who is Yua Yuta?

Becky sat on the ground. She didn't kneel down and sit, she fell to the ground. She had a feeling she didn't need to worry about damaging her coccyx, so she didn't care.
Jasper and Vanessa hurried to her side and sat down next to her. Becky looked up at Faulkner and Blade. They were awkwardly standing next to each other.
Jasper awkwardly asked, "What… do we do next?"
"Vanessa decides." Becky flopped back onto the ground and closed her eyes. She held out her hand for Vanessa to spell her ideas against her palm.
Vanessa looked up at the men. She stared at them as she signed 'village?'
Becky stood and glared at the men. She spoke in a low but authoritative tone, "We will walk in complete silence, doing literally nothing other than walking, until we get to the village."
Everyone exchanged glances as she began to march in the direction Blade had come from earlier.
Once everyone began to follow her, the whole party felt the lurching and pulling feeling. Jasper and Blade fell over, but Faulkner righted himself as if he were on a ship battered by waves. As Becky had said, they were in front of the village.
"How?!" Jasper raised his voice. "We were there! And now we're here! And I want to throw up!"
"That's just how it works." Becky crossed her arms as she sighed. "There's two possibilities as I see it. This is either a DnD town or a JRPG town." There was a wall around the town so that she couldn't see anything other than a few nondescript building fronts through the entrance. She shrugged. "If you count Pokemon as a JRPG, there can be as little as three buildings we can interact with without breaking into anyone's home. In DnD, thanks to not worrying about processing and size limitations, there could be a whole lot of places to explore."
Blade awkwardly raised his hand. Becky held back a laugh. Maybe if she said 'Japanese role playing game', he would be able to understand that Japan was a place he didn't know about. Maybe if she had said 'Dungeons and Dragons', he could try to make sense of it. But it was probably complete gibberish to him when shortened.
Without elaborating, Becky made her way to the entrance. Everyone silently followed her. Once they were inside the village, Becky let out a confused 'huh?'
It was more bare bones than she had expected, but that was the least confusing thing. It was a parody of a Wild West town. There were several boarded up buildings, but only three looked accessible. There were signs in front of the buildings that plainly stated 'tavern', 'inn', and 'shop'.
"I'll take Vanessa with me, but you three can split up…" Becky turned towards her party members. "I can try to talk to the inn keeper to see if we can stay there for the night so we can regroup in the morning."
Jasper awkwardly shifted his weight from one foot to the other. "Can I explore the area around here? Out past the buildings might be a farm. They gotta get their food from somewhere, right?"
Blade looked amused whereas Faulkner was obviously embarrassed. They both knew that Jasper was afraid to be around them without Becky to yell at them.
"Of course," Becky nodded. "Blade, check the shop. Faulkner, check the tavern."
How is Yuta Yua's bank?
While there were two different download links, Mae only chose to download one, as they were named "lite" and "hybrid". There is a chance that she had previously downloaded two banks from another character on the site and the lite bank was a cut down version of the hybrid before.
The bank is a two pitch, what I believe to be, VCV with the pitches set at G#3 and E4. The configurations are good! The voice feels a little difficult to explain. It is a nice, high quality voice. The voice sounds like the word Mae uses for a 'sporty older sister', but it has a sense of added kawaii that makes it feel strange. But, if you like those kinds of voices, you will love Yua.
Where can I download Yua Yuuta?
The download links are on the official UTAU Ice Tea website. She is really nice!
