 I made Chinese tester ust files using the CVVChinese system! I thought this utau had more Chinese banks, so I made quite a few.

I'm not exactly sure what's going on! Imo loves sweet potatoes (but not yams I'm pretty sure) and hates hospitals, but is sickly? She is only fourteen years old.

McKenzie could feel the eyes on her as Charlotte guided her to her first class. McKenzie held her head high because she wasn't the kind of person who had the ability to be self-conscious. Instead, she thought that all of us other kids were in awe of her authentic robes and the very nice box that held her pens and ink.

She was the only person dressed that way. Everyone else was wearing blue jeans. She looked around to see if even one person was wearing differently colored pants or a skirt, but it was just blue pants as far as she could see.

The hallway felt sterile. The outside of the school looked like an ancient castle, but the inside was just a regular building with fluorescent light and painted cinder block walls. It was unusually clean for a school hallway, but McKenzie had no frame of reference for a normal school. She just knew that it was completely unlike Miss Constance's house.

Charlotte wanted to just drop her off at her first class, but she knew better. She ushered McKenzie into the room and sat her down at a computer. McKenzie looked uncomfortable. Class was starting soon. Charlotte could stay until the first bell and give McKenzie a quick lesson on how computer mice move the cursor around or what a keyboard was, but she didn't want to. So she awkwardly patted McKenzie on the head and hurried out.

Daffodil noticed McKenzie and weighed her options. She was more caring and kind than Charlotte, but she was still a former mean girl who didn't actually care as much as she should have. Once class started and McKenzie struggled, she would swoop in and be the kind and affable school teacher who inspired a love of learning. (Or at least, she could supply tissues if the frustration made McKenzie cry. Some 'normal' witches were sheltered enough to cry when introduced to the concept of typing.)

A warning bell played over the intercom speakers. As students filed in, Daffodil studied all of their faces. Every year, they looked younger and younger.

"No assigned seats!" Daffodil called out. "Sit wherever you want."

Once all of the students were in their seats, Daffodil quickly looked down at her desk. Magically, everyone was present and accounted for. Usually, she got at least one straggler in the wrong room. Smaller class sizes, she mused.

The bell rang and Daffodil stood up. "Good morning, class!" Her teacher voice always made her flinch on the first day back. So chipper and supportive! "This isn't an actual class. You might not come and see me first thing every morning! Instead, this is for placement. If you're good at computers, you'll get a choice between programming and study hall. If you're not there yet..." Daffodil laughed softly, "I'll be the one who helps you get better!"

There was a soft murmur from the children. Daffodil knew how is always worked - programmers, Instagrammers, and sheltered children. Testing was just a formality.

How are Kaze Imo's banks?

Imo has eight banks with two being Chinese. 

「無印」　連続音 is... Borked. They're all booked. I spent 3 hours 25 minutes working with ChatGPT for a solution, and it was complete frustration. This bank had an easy out the entire time - with a few exceptions, the oto matches the file order... Anyway, nothing would get me that jazzed about a bank after all this trouble, so... Imagine if Defoko and Teto had a baby. That's basically this!

Thankfully, the one pitch Chinese CVVC Bank is in Latin characters. The voice is cute and clear, and CVVChn is infinitely easier to use than my diphonic system. This bank feels small, so it would be good for trying out CVVChinese without downloading a large bank.

Annnnd with Warm, we are back to borked. Let's fix this! To start, you will need a program like Notepad++ and Advanced Renamer.

First, to make things easier, I am deleting all of the FRQ files so that I can more easily select the wav files later. Now that the folder is cleaner, I'm going to select all of the wav files and then copy the paths to clipboard using this button:

It may not work correctly if you do not have sort by name selected. Next, we are going to clean up the file names so that we can convert them. In your favorite text editor, replace the path (all text other than the actual file name) with nothing. You should also remove ".wav"" also. It should look like this:

now, I have no idea how many people will use this at all, so I haven't finished the page. Feel free to edit it as much as you want and even rehost it, because it is ChatGPT code. There are errors, but like I said, I don't think anyone will use it to notice!

NeoCities is mean and broke the converter, so here is the pastebin so that you can run it yourself by saving it as an html file.

Now, open Advanced Renamer. Add your files, then add a new List method. Copy the output from the converter into that list. Unless someone has helped me fix the javascript, there will be errors, but this should be enough for me to get a decent singing sample. 

... Or not! She has a lovely voice, and I think I prefer it to her first vcv bank.

The three pitch Chinese CVVC Bank is gone - the file was apparently taken down. I checked BowlRoll, nothing. The one thing I was looking forward to!

Tired act 1 is a one pitch VCV bank. The filenames are broken. I tried to be slick and reuse some stuff, and it went very poorly. The voice is lovely, yes, but the thing is fundamentally broken.

I totally love the voice of tired act 2! Super solid one pitch VCV with a lower range. No notes on the voice, but the file names are still broken and my converter has very many mistakes in mapping.

Sairoku version is a one pitch vcv bank that still has broken filenames. The tone is more sharp and she sounds annoyed at the world and slightly bored.

Finally, Dark Blue. It was uploaded in 2020, so I swear I will have emotions if the file names are broken. And they are good!!! The file names WORK!!

There's five pitches. She sounds great. The voice reminds me of Teto.
