Cursed Teletubbies, part 1

It had been a week and I still had no idea what Booples' name was. 

It looked awful, but I had stepped up as an on screen personality while he was hiding in my living room. Someone needed to read my scripts, and it would feel gross and exploitive to show him in this state. Everyone at the studio helped me by gathering enough of his things so that he could be comfortable in my apartment.

Booples was a very quiet person while traumatized. He just sat there until he needed to use the bathroom, and then he was in and out and back to sitting. I did push him to eat and shower, and he did without any complaints.

It seemed like he was getting better... And then I got another box of tapes.

As I was walking up to my doorway, I saw a man holding a box. I didn't recognize him, and he wasn't wearing a uniform of any kind. He knew who I was and pushed the box into me. I grabbed it and he walked away calmly.

"It's for Booples, right?" I called out at him.

He turned back to me. "Yup, for the channel. Have a good day." He left.

I went inside and darted to my workstation. I didn't want him to see more tapes - I knew his mind would go to Jeff.

These were standard recordable VHS tapes, so at least that was different. I popped one of the tapes into the machine and waited.

The AI informed me that the tape was from... I had to verify it. The tape contained bumpers from 1998. There were no splices, and all of the video seemed to come from the same source. 

I opened up the video file. Bumpers for PBS Kids played and I noted that the station was located in Montana of all places. Then... Teletubbies. Only the most paint by numbers creepypasta version of the Teletubbies. I leaned back in my chair as the episode played. The music was slowed down, the sun was sad, and everyone had 'hyper realistic' eyes. Eventually, it devolved into violence and I had seen enough. We couldn't publicize that - the video would get demonetized. I pulled that tape out and put in another one and waited.

Again, there was nothing to even imply it wasn't an authentic recording of a television broadcast aside from the preservation of the tape and the fact that there was never an episode of the Teletubbies where they became cannibals.

I rolled my eyes. I would upload it to the server with my notes about the authenticity, but I wasn't going to bother Booples about it. He didn't need anything else to make him even more paranoid.

I got a notification on my phone. I looked down at a text from the producer "greg where did you get this what is wrong with you???"

Oh. They found Jeff. Not that I meant to keep it a secret.

How Is Minako Moore's bank?

Minako was meant to have more banks, but I could only find the MARS CV. It is a one pitch, hiragana encoded CV bank. The otos are a little wonky. Once fixed up, oh my goodness!! I hope that the SOLARloids are able to make her MARS VCV, because her voice is so cute and nice!
