Axfc is a jerk. Here's my post on how to get downloads from there to work.

Multi-pitch CVVC banks do not work properly with the shareware A for automatic button!! Any articles where I complain about CVVC banks being broken is my own fault for not figuring it out sooner!!

Forgotten Friday #269 - 雀都 / Zakuto

I keep trying to convince people to record Diffsinger banks for me!

Forgotten Friday #269 - 雀都 / Zakuto

Zakuto is a nineteen year old boy. I think that's it for his entire character.

Who Is Zakuto?

Aliyah watched McKenzie begin talking more. She watched her come to love math. But, she didn't see McKenzie mention anything at all about magic.

She gave it time, but she was a teenager. One week of patience felt like a year. Finally, when they were in their room after the school day ended, she asked. "How is magic class going?"

"Oh." McKenzie blushed. "I don't want you to be upset or disappointed but..." She gestured at her desk. "President Penn and Mrs. Mossgarten are afraid of me, so the ring has stayed on my desk and I haven't gotten any more special jewelry."

"I'm not upset or disappointed, Ken." Aliyah made sure that her voice was calm and sympathetic. "I'm just confused because you're so proactive about math." She paused. "I like magic more than math, so that's why I'm confused."

McKenzie didn't really know how to explain her feelings. She had went from her normal to something else. She liked the something else, but she didn't know how to put it into words exactly. "My head hurt a lot before. I got kind of dizzy when I used too much brain power." She bit the inside of her lip as she tried to think of how to put it. "Now that I have the medicine, I don't get dizzy and my brain doesn't hurt as much. But just because I'm not in pain doesn't make me like the things I don't like any more. I still get distracted and lose focus... It's just that I can focus on the things I like."

"If I found a way to make magic fun, would you possibly like it as much as math then?" Aliyah wasn't fishing for an answer - she really was curious.

McKenzie laughed. "I don't think you can make magic as fun as math. It's not fun like playing a game, it's..."

It clicked for Aliyah. "You've spent so much time with so little validation - and you spent so long feeling like you couldn't do anything right. It's not that it's fun, it's that you get a little hit of validation every time you do things right."

"And it's not hard to do things right with math." McKenzie nodded. "There's simple rules that you follow every time to end up with the correct result. Maybe that's not how it is in college, but that's how it is as a kid."

"Are you afraid of failure?" Aliyah leaned forward.

"Aliyah," McKenzie took a deep breath. "I'm not afraid of failure. I just know when it's possible and I have a hard time paying attention because I'm not sure if I'll be happy in the end." She gestured in the direction of the main building of the compound. "They're afraid of me."

Aliyah nodded. There was nothing she could do to make them stop fearing McKenzie's abilities. If she was able to train her to do everything correctly, they'd probably be more afraid. She groaned.

How is Zakuto's bank?

Zakuto has a one pitch VCV bank. He has a very sweet and youthful voice that still feels boyish.
