Wisteria Willow did not like being at home. She had the option of staying at the school over the weekends, but her parents were convinced that she was better off with them as much as possible.

"Now Stery," Tori's voice was sickly sweet, "The president of the school said that if you prove you're good at computers, you won't be wasting your time with playing silly games."

Wisteria stared incredulously at her mother. Wisteria was carefully styled to match the current influencers. Every time there was a shift in what was popular and trendy, she came home to a new wardrobe and a box of hair dye.

"You're good at your phone, right?" Chuck gave an obviously fake laugh. "That has a keyboard, right?"

Wisteria nodded. She was led by her parents to a brand new computer sitting on a desk in the living room.

"Cost us a pretty penny!" Chuck chuckled. "But only the best for our daughter!"

Wisteria sat down. There was no pass code, so she was able to click through to the desktop. She looked up at her parents. She knew what she needed to do - go online and open up a typing test. But she was banking on the fact that they didn't know.

Tori pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket. "I'll show you..." Wisteria stood and let her mother sit down at the computer. She followed the steps she had written down. She stared at the typing test. She felt nervous for some reason, but she started it. It was a full minute of her awkwardly hunting for the keys on the keyboard. Once she was finished, she sucked on her teeth. It was bad.

"Honey, let me try..." Chuck took the seat once Tori stood. He had a job that involved computers years ago, surely he would do better. He was faster and didn't have to look at the keyboard... But the amount of mistakes me made completely tanked his score.

Chuck stood. He and Tori just stared at each other in the way that made Wisteria swear that they had a telepathic connection.

"Okay, sweetie." Tori mumbled as she looked away from Chuck. "I'm very embarrassed, and your father is very embarrassed. Computers are harder than we thought." Chuck and Tori were older than they looked. When they were in school, things like knowing how to use a computer weren't taught to everyone. Chuck swore he had enough knowledge with computers, but his work mostly involved using the num pad, not actually typing words.

"This is an expensive computer." Wistaria finally spoke. "I bet you could play Minecraft on it."

"Yes." Chuck sighed. "I'll buy you whatever game you want."

Wisteria shrugged. "I meant, I bet you two could play Minecraft on it. I guess it would be fun and make you less embarrassed if you knew how to play video games."

"You're right, Stery." Tori nodded. "We would be less embarrassed if we knew how to play computer games."
