Sometimes, it is frogs. He does not care. He loves eating chickens and he hates watermelons.

Aliyah closed her eyes and stood in the correct position. Part of her was doubting the magic would work. She wasn't like the rest of them.

As Charlotte called out the instructions, something strange happened. Though her eyes were closed, Aliyah began to see purple smoke. Nothing but purple smoke that blotted out anything else that could exist around her. She was floating and warm as she looked around her. Then, she heard an echoing sound that must have been Charlotte's voice. She felt something climbing and crawling up her skin, but when she looked down, she didn't see whatever it was. She wasn't even standing - there was no ground to stand on.

She heard the echoing again. The fingertips on her right hand felt warm, but she didn't see anything, even as she pulled her hand to her face. The echoing rang through whatever space she was in again. She felt something leaking from the fingertips of her left hand.

Then, the final echo. A chill ran down her spine as she felt a gust of wind that pulled her out of that purple place and into the real world. She looked down and saw that she had vines crisscrossing her body.

McKenzie ran to her and used her hands to help her out of the maze of vines. "That wasn't what it felt like for me at all!"

Aliyah closed her eyes again. No more purple smoke, just darkness. She opened her eyes and tried to turn to Charlotte. When she couldn't easily turn, she kicked around to try and uproot the vines from the Earth.

Charlotte walked to Aliyah. "Do you need to see the video, or is the fact that you still have vines on you proof enough?"

"I'm sorry, Ken..." Aliyah was visibly confused. "But for me, that felt really, really nice. I was somewhere else, floating like I was in space. It wasn't that I felt the magic... It was like I wasn't magic, and..." She looked down at her hands. One hand was barely damp, and the other just had what looked like a tiny bit of soot on her fingertips. "It wasn't me doing the magic."

"It wasn't me either!" McKenzie nodded. "It sounded like me saying things in my head, but it wasn't me!"

Aliyah looked over at Charlotte. "I'm sorry for being rude, but are you qualified to tell us what any of this means?"

"It's not rude, because I'm not." Charlotte awkwardly laughed. "I don't even think Mrs. Mossgarten is qualified."

"Oh boy." Aliyah groaned. "Mr. Slime?" She caught herself just after she said it, but then realized that Charlotte had probably called Mr. Simmons that when she was a student.

"Yeah," Charlotte pretended she didn't hear her call him by his insulting nickname. "I don't know anyone more qualified within a hundred mile radius than Mr. Simmons."

"Who is that?" McKenzie looked up at Charlotte.

Charlotte sighed. "He's one of our teachers."

How are Yakusa Raku's banks?

A few weeks ago, I said to buckle up for a wild ride and found out like 90% of the banks had been deleted. I don't think that's the case here.

First, let's look at normal vcv 3. It is a one pitch vcv. He has a nice voice!

Next up is CV 1. He has a wonderfully nostalgic voice.

Next is Kire 1.5. I'm not a big fan of kire, but I would love to use the lower pitches because they are really nice.

What does Goku sound source mean?  極 means pole or extreme. The site says they want you to read it as kyoku. It is a six pitch vcv. I get it! The range is as extreme as possible! I love this so much more than Kire!

Next is a three pitch vcv whisper bank. I like whisper banks, and this is a nice whisper bank.

Sleep is a one pitch vcv bank. He does sound sleepy! And nice!

焔遥 (enyou) means something like far off flames? It is an eight pitch CVVC! Except, only 6 are in the prefix map. I really love CVVC! The voice is nice and has a kire style. 

Light snowfall (淡雪) is a three pitch cvvc bank. It is meant to be weak. He doesn't sound very weak, but his voice is still nice.

Next are the "old days" banks. The first in that section is a five pitch kire vcv. He has a nice voice that doesn't sound very kire. 

Finally, we have VCV 2. It is just one pitch. He sounds great!
