Jeb sat transfixed in front of the television. 

Betty had tried to explain everything to him, but he didn't really understand it. He was home schooled his entire life. He didn't understand the concept of DNA but he kind of understood that he had two sets of parents but Betty only had one. 

On the screen, the most beautiful woman Jeb had ever seen was singing and dancing. She was doing acrobatics that he couldn't imagine. 

Once it was over, he looked at Betty. "Is that your mama?"

"No," Betty softly laughed. "That's our father."

She tapped on her phone and pulled up one of his old "get ready with me" videos. 

Jeb was silent as he watched a man who looked so much like him glue down his eyebrows and draw on a beautiful face. 

Betty leaned back against the wall. She was never interested in her father's old YouTube videos. He had quit drag by the time they finally succeeded with IVF. It was some silly and boring thing to her. She was much more interested in her mother's interests.

Once the video was finished, Jeb was visibly confused. "Why did he do that?"

"He loved art." Betty smiled. "He loved performance. You know, he had aunts and uncles who would dress up like that and read to children at the library. They were sweet and kind, so he wanted to be just like them."

"Did you ever do that?" Jeb's eyes widened. 

Betty laughed. "No, no. I wouldn't sit still for long enough. I was like our mother. She even refused to wear makeup on her wedding day!"

"So you're like your mother, and I'm like your father?" Jeb looked back at the TV. There were thumbnails for more makeup videos on the screen.

"You're a little young for makeup." Betty gave a soft laugh. "But I figure, once you're maybe fourteen, I can get in touch with some friends who could take you shopping."

Jeb hesitated.

"Hey," Betty sat down next to Jeb. "I know you loved your parents." She looked at the TV. "But... They didn't exactly..."

"Why am I not with them still?"

It had been a while. She was waiting for the question. 

"Well..." She took a deep breath. "They... Well..."

"Oh." There was horror on Jeb's face as he started to remember the sermons. The pagentry and the beauty took him out of reality for a moment. "Oh..."

"Yeah." Betty shook her head. "They... Well... Thought that you might be like your father."

"I want to be like him." He looked at Betty. "When can I meet him?"

Betty didn't know how to answer that. She wasn't religious. She didn't want to lie, but she didn't know how to politely phrase that he was dead. 

"Wait... If it was the 2040s..." He looked down at his hands as he tried to do the math. "They're... People don't live that long, do they?"

"They would have loved you, Jeb." She gently patted his shoulder. "They would have loved to have known you."

Next she has a one pitch VCV. Her voice is calm and more mature than the CV bank.

Cold is a three pitch VCV. It seems like Shito's creator did not want you to use her high and low pitch at all as the prefix map has the low start and go downwards from C3 and the high starting and going up at like C5. I fixed up the prefix map so that the bank could be used as multi-pitch. Her voice is very nice!

Next we have Whisper. Whisper is a two pitch VCV. Her voice is so insanely beautiful! 

Next is Passion. It is a three pitch VCV. Because these are recorded passionately, you may run into times where the frq files are a little wonky and they growl at you. 

Finally, we have Straight. It is a three pitch VCV. Her voice is powerful!
