Forgotten Friday #335 - 枉音ゼロアイ / Magene Zeroai

Zeroai is a young boy who is made of data. He really dislikes ignorant people.

"So, Brian." His therapist took a deep breath. "There was recently a law passed."

Brian was confused why Miss Delilah had called him in for an emergency appointment. Usually it was the patient who requested those. 

"Supernatural beings were banned." Miss Delilah shook her head. "I'm praying it's not another Don't Ask, Don't Tell but... The law was repealed. Now... They're no longer banned."

"Oh..." Brian tried to piece everything together. "You're a... Vampire?"

"No, no..." She shook her head. "Brian, your government mandated suppressor will cease functioning in..." She looked at her watch. "Five... Four..."

Suddenly, Brian's skin began to turn green and scaly. He panicked as extra limbs began to sprout from his sides. He couldn't process what was happening until he was three times his size and looking down at Miss Delilah.

"What." Brian flinched. His voice was a deep roar.

"When you go to check on your parents, your father will look almost exactly the way you look now... Just larger." She bit her lip as she tried to think of what to say. 

Brian did his best to pitch up his voice to sound somewhat human. "But... I don't want this."

"I know!" She cried. "I wrote to every single senator and congressman! It's wrong to just take away people's choice to be what they always were! And not everyone has someone to warn them! You didn't even know the law applied to you to begin with!"

Brian looked at the door. "How do I get out of here?"

"You can just punch the wall." Miss Delilah sighed. "If you can't get out through the doorway, just punch it until it's wide enough."

"I really, really don't want to do that." Brian groaned. He flinched. The groan came out as a roar that shook the walls. 

"I think maybe you could go to a hospital. Maybe they could get you a functioning suppressor."

"Why didn't they warn me?" Brian shook his head.

"Well..." She took a deep breath. "It's complicated. They thought you'd never be able to know that you're half supernatural. So why put that in your head? You were the star athlete at your school and the most popular guy. You had insane confidence. Would knowing all of this shake that?"

Brian paused. He looked out of the window. "Yeah. It would mess me up. Like... Right now. I'm feeling pretty messed up."

"And your feelings are valid!" She nodded. "If they thought this was a possibility, they would have raised you as supernatural. But knowing that the government was just... Changing you without your consent? That's... A feeling I can't imagine."

Brian took a deep breath. "So, is this it? I just look like this? I can't fly or anything?"

"Funny you should say that." She nervously laughed. "You actually do have wings. They may not work really well, but you have them."

Brian stared blankly at her. "Wow. That's... Okay. I guess I'll try flying."

How Are Magene Zeroai's banks?

He has three banks and they are all VCV.

His VCV bank with no subtitle is a one pitch VCV. He sounds nice!

Next we have Solid.  It Is a three pitch VCV bank. The prefix map is a bit of a mess! His high pitch is very loud to the point of clipping. However, it's only the highest pitch that has the issue and the bank doesn't come with a prefix map that makes the high pitch trigger much at all.

Finally, we have Sweet. Sweet has four pitches of VCV. The prefix map only has D5 in it. Some of the samples give me really weird FRQ files that make the voice glitch but the voice is nice.
