Wiki Wednesday #332 - snowsorry's Milli-on / ミリおん
Milli is an agender android that wants to see the world but is stopped by their very bulky mechanical parts. They can't stand inconsiderate people.
Who is Milli-on?

When I was a kid, one of my grandma's brothers had a beautiful cherry tree in his yard. It was beautiful and striking. And... It made a ton of cherries! I even got to come along to pick them as a kid.
I love cherries. I love cherries by themselves, I love cherries in baked goods, and I love cherry flavored things!
But I have a little animosity towards the cherry trees apparently. Years ago, my mom planted us several cherry trees. We have gotten no cherries and the majority of the trees died. Apparently, my great-uncle's cherry tree only lasted a few years before deciding to just stop existing as a functioning tree.
Like seriously?! Life can't be Stardew Valley?! I plant a tree and I get fruit?! I'd settle for it being old school Harvest Moon before Natsume started making their own games.
My parents are taking gardening seriously. They've even installed an irrigation system for their garden. Their garden produces food! It's the cherry trees that are the problem. I swear.
My favorite way to eat cherries is cherry pie. There's no competition. Cherry pie is even super easy to make using canned cherry pie filling. But that's not zero points. My favorite way to eat cherries that costs zero points is to eat them frozen.
I really assumed that frozen fruits didn't go in and out of season. Like... They're frozen. But it seems like the varieties change over time. So in the summer, they're huge, sweet, and there's a ton of juice in the bottom of the bag. Throughout fall they were still large but each bag had less and less flavor. Now it's winter and the cherries are tiny and barely taste of anything!
I think I do prefer frozen cherries to fresh cherries. Something about being frozen softens them up. I mean, ice crystals forming and puncturing cell membranes does that.
While you're supposed to be careful eating frozen cherries because the pit may not have been correctly removed, it's a lot better than when the pit is still actually there. There would be plenty of ways to actually remove the pit from fresh cherries before eating them. But I don't even like thinking about effort sometimes. Besides, I'm lucky that the version I prefer is available all year.
I'm not the biggest fan of maraschino cherries though. They are very pretty but they always just tasted off to me.
Thinking about it, cherries get used a lot in ice cream. They really go great there! Gosh darn it. The fact that you can buy inferior vegan "ice cream" that isn't nearly as good as the real stuff actually makes it sting more that you can't actually have real ice cream. I know vegan ice cream can be pretty good, but most of it stuff just isn't ice cream at all!
So yeah. Cherries are a really cool fruit that I like a lot. They taste great and they even have the decency to look pretty.
How Are Milli-on's banks?
I was worried I wouldn't be able to get these banks! My tablet is not a good computer. It took forever to get the pages with the download links to load!
Milli has two banks: A CV and a CVVC. Both have just one pitch.
The CV prototype bank has a very nice tone.
The CVVC circuit bank says it has some English capabilities! So I made them sing in English! The voice is very pretty.
Where can I download Milli-on?
You can find them on their official site. Be patient! It can take a bit to load.
