Forgotten Friday #261 - 匿名 / TEAL+ Tokumei

Tokumei is a genderless being who probably isn't human with an unknown age.

Mr. Linseed looked like a jolly, round old man. He was clean shaven with short hair, specifically so that he wouldn't look like Santa Claus.

"Ms. Pendragon," he chuckled. "It's like you forget that I'm your subordinate now. I can't call your parents and send you to detention anymore."

Aliyah glanced over to Charlotte, who was pale and on the verge of shaking. She cleared her throat, "Vice Principal Linseed, may I speak for President Penn?"

"Of course, Ms. Azan." He nodded. "I'm glad to finally meet you."

Aliyah nodded. Even though she occasionally broke the law, she had never been in trouble. Mr. Linseed was in charge of disciplinary actions and not much else. "What do we do when we suspect a student has a neurological or developmental disorder?" When she noticed the confusion in his expression, she quickly added, "I'm not being cryptic to hide I'm talking about myself - it's my roommate."

"The first thing we do is be careful in our language." He rested his elbows on his desk. "Our words are important, and the wrong ones can be damaging to our Neurodivergent students if we are careless."

Aliyah paused with confusion on her face. "I thought you were like... Old?"

He laughed. "Of course I am! But every semester, we are all forced to watch sensitivity training material. Can I be frank with you and trust you to not tell on me?"

Aliyah nodded.

"Because we are not a public school, we have virtually no regulations. Did you ever notice that our guidance counselor is just the nurse?" He held back a laugh as Aliyah's eyes widened. "If we suspect a student is struggling, we contact their parents. It is on the parents to find the correct therapist or psychiatrist to treat the issue. We aren't willing to take on that liability, and because of a lack of regulations, we don't have to."

"But what if..." Aliyah quickly shook her head to focus. "She has no parents?"

"Oh," he nodded. "She's one of Connie's, isn't she?"

"Yeah..."

"Connie won't do anything, no matter how much we bother her. When other parents refuse to do anything, we put up with the struggling children until they do something bad enough to be expelled." Again, he reacted to the dejected, confused look on her face, "It isn't ideal, and I don't want it to be that way at all, but we have no choice. We can't legally force children into therapy... But." He picked up a pen and twirled it between his fingers. "Our good Connie has given me permission to sign any documents in her place. If you arrange for your roommate to get therapy, come to me with all of the intake paperwork. I will happily sign it so that your roommate can be properly helped."

"Thank you so much!" Aliyah smiled brightly. "It might be hard, but I'll make sure it happens!" She grabbed Charlotte's hand and led her out.

How are Tokumei's banks?

So... Many... Pitches... 

ROCK has six main pitches and two sets of extra files. You will need to fix the prefix map as the aliases were changed from the pitch names and not updated in the prefix map. The bank is a very strong kire bank with an androgynous vibe.

Next is the four pitch SOLID VCV. The voice is much less powerful and very nice.

Next is the four pitch SOFT VCV. I really like soft banks! The voice doesn't feel very soft, but it is compared to the other banks. 

There Is extra supplemental material that I will ignore, so the final bank is the five pitch Downer VCV. This bank is actually soft and sounds very nice.
