 I was sad so I hugged my cat but I'm allergic so now I just want to sleep. There's proof this guy is meant to be Twine Owata / Owata Twine.

Forgotten Friday #341 - 終音オワタ / Tsuine Owata

Owata is a guy in his 20s. My memory loss is making me really not believe I'm not in my 20s anymore. I feel young!

"Confound it!" Sara groaned as she stormed into her room. 

She never minded Spot. She thought Spot was a tolerable dog. But Spot had changed since Sara's sister passed. 

Spot was barking at the closet. Sara opened the door. Spot looked at her. Sara wasn't good at dogs. She was nice holding her until her mother cleared everything with her landlord. But even she could tell that Spot was asking "are you seeing this?!"

Sara looked into the closet. Nothing. She gestured wildly at the door. "You can go in! Find the thing!"

Spot stepped into the closet and sniffed around.

"Thanks for letting me out, sweet cheeks!" A laughing voice was coming from the guest bed. Sara spun around as quickly as she could. 

"You know," the figure sitting on the bed sniffled. "I'm going to miss Rita. She was the best a death god could hope for."

"Do you mean... Shinigami?" Sara narrowed her eyes.

"Oh, your only exposure to anime is Adult Swim?" The creature stood. She was gorgeous and tall with pink skin and a tight red leather dress. "Do you think I'm ugly?"

Sara tried to change the topic. (Of course, this death god was a mix of Jessica Rabbit and Him from Powerpuff Girls. She was not ugly.) "So Rita didn't have a Death Note?"

"Why is that your first assumption?" The death god crossed her arms over her chest. "Why would Death Notes even exist?" She rolled her eyes. "I was Rita's guardian angel. When she passed, I latched onto Spot. I just had to mess with Spot enough to transfer the bond to you."

"How much of a guardian angel is a death god that let their..." Sara tried to think of the words. "Their person die?"

"Well." She softly laughed. "Rita was meant to die in the accident in kindergarten."

Sara barely remembered. She was only a few years older than Rita. But she did remember being bored out of her mind in the hospital waiting room with her grandmother. 

"I!" The death god spread her arms wide, "I saved her. I saved her time after time. So excuse me if I slip up on the thousandth attempt."

"Sorry. Yeesh." Sara rolled her eyes. "Okay, so what? Now you stop me from dying?"

"I... Don't actually need to." The death god awkwardly chuckled. "You're dying of old age in a really nice nursing home. I just want to have someone to talk to while doing zero actual work."

Sara was dumbfounded. But then she laughed. "That sounds like me! You must know everything about me."

"Yeah, and we need to talk about your taste in men!" She laughed. "Sara, baby, no!"

Spot let out a whimper. She could no longer see the death god - just Sara talking to herself.

"Don't worry about Spot either." The death god shrugged. "Old age at your mother's house. Can't tell you about your mom though - I've never bonded with her."

How are Tsuine Owata's banks?

There is a two pitch VCV and a one pitch CV bank. I have no idea how I haven't already covered this guy! His first bank was made in 2009!

So I've noticed that 2009 banks just had a 2009 feeling. I couldn't understand it. I deleted the old FRQs that were generated in 2009. I even switched to the fancy resampler and wavtool I use for serious projects! I have no idea how it turned out because I just don't have spoons today.

The VCV has two pitches. His voice is very nice!
