Mae has more or less fully healed, so I can take over again!

Oripo is a 24 year old cyborg who lost his vocal chords and arms in the war. His vocal chords are fixed in place, but his arms can be removed.

Vanessa moved to the other side of the table so that Becky could look at Faulkner and Jasper while translating for her.

Becky watched as Vanessa signed before asking the men, "Why do you think Blade isn't here?"

"Hurt feelings?" Faulkner shrugged. "Jasper and I got the money we needed, and he did nothing."

"But Vanessa and I didn't do anything either," Becky rolled her eyes. "Let me guess - we're weak women and we don't count."

"It's entirely horrible to say that…" Jasper sighed. "But he probably would say that."

Becky translated for Vanessa, "It's really nice that we all seem to like each other… except for him. But he proved that we can't split up." Becky paused before adding her own thoughts: "We could see if he could do a side quest. Maybe if he has something here to keep him busy…"

"Side quest?" Jasper slowly nodded. "Like how I went pretty far outside the city to slay the beasts, but I was able to do so because I was doing something. He wasn't doing anything on purpose when he got stopped by the barrier." 

"Yes!" Becky laughed as she relayed Vanessa's thoughts. She spoke for herself, "But what could we tell him to do? I mean, if it was me or Vanessa, we would just do whatever you guys needed to be able to progress. But Blade would probably throw a hissy fit about anything 'below him'."

"My 'side quest' was fixing the saw chord," Faulkner nodded along. "Perhaps someone would need…" He trailed off. "What is he even good at?"

Everyone looked awkwardly in different directions. The only option seemed to be asking everyone in the town if they needed anything done. The alternative was dragging Blade along with them.

"We need to bite the bullet and take him with us." Vanessa was pouting as Becky relayed her signs to the others. "The side quest wouldn't last forever, and we would need to join back together eventually. If we want to progress without doubling back, we'll need him."

Jasper groaned. He knew that Becky was right. 

"Well, what is our next quest?" Faulkner patted Jasper on the back.

"I guess… equipment?" Becky shrugged. "Vanessa and I have nothing to defend ourselves with. I know healing is pretty useless for us, but maybe some kind of potions? Because… maybe we'll lose the equipment and gold we have if we die?"

"I saw the inside of the store," Becky slowly nodded as she translated for Vanessa. "There was food, but nothing like weapons."

Faulkner hummed for a few moments before quickly standing and making his way to the bar.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" The woman behind the bar blushed as her hand covered her mouth. "I promised you food, but our kitchen is rather slow."

"No, no, fair maiden!" Faulkner laughed softly. "My party and I were chosen to save your land, but two of our members have no weapons or armor. Perhaps even my axe isn't enough to save such a beautiful kingdom."

She swooned and giggled. "Oh! I have quite a good amount of sway with the owner of the mobile armory just past the city towards the mountain." She reached beneath the bar and pulled out parchment and a permanent marker. (Becky and Vanessa exchanged extremely confused glances. They were too polite to run up and try and see if the name brand was on the marker.) "But…" The woman sighed. "Adventurers rarely come back. I will write to him asking that he gives you all you need, but please stay one more night. I may never hear the songs of my childhood again once you leave!"

Faulkner looked back at his party. Both Vanessa and Becky were giving him exaggerated 'thumbs ups' of approval.

How are Sumino Oripo's banks?

Oripo has a CV bank and a light vcv bank, both one pitch. It is recommended not to use the VCV as it is noisy.

First, the CV. The average pitch is G3. The otos are not good. The voice is fine. It has a normal male Japanese voice.

Next Is his vcv. It is lite, so it has a cv bank included. It has a lot of noise, but it has a much more interesting tone than the cv with an average pitch of D3.
