I had an idea for a fun challenge, but I had already downloaded these banks.
Forgotten Friday #236 - saishiki's 白華 / Hakka
Who is Hakka?

"You okay..." Aliyah paused. She didn't feel completely right calling McKenzie any variation of the name Connie had forced on her. When Aliyah even heard the name Mable, she flinched. "You okay, Ken?"
"Yeah!" McKenzie nodded as she stood.
"Oh, your hand..." Aliyah gently took McKenzie's hand. She had scraped it pretty badly in the fall. "One moment..." Aliyah held the hand in her left hand while she flicked the wrist of her right hand a few times. Once her fingertips started to glow a pale seafoam, she gently touched McKenzie's palm.
McKenzie's eyes widened. She had seen Mr. Elf's magic, and she had seen temper tantrum magic, but this was her first time seeing an actual witch do an actual spell on purpose.
Charlotte let herself celebrate for just a moment before smiling and holding out two key cards for Aliyah to take. "The cards are backups. The locks are trained to your magical signatures."
"Really?!" Aliyah couldn't help but laugh. "What's so special about her that she gets a fancy private room as a first year kid?"
McKenzie looked up at Charlotte with sweet and pleading eyes.
Charlotte blanked. The correct answer was 'she is painfully dumb', but she couldn't say that in front of McKenzie. She couldn't think of any other reason, though.
"Yeah..." Aliyah looked down at McKenzie. She slowly nodded her head as she turned to give Charlotte a knowing glance. "I remember why she's special enough to get a fancy room with her big sister."
As Aliyah grew older and refined her morals, she did think about how she never tried to teach McKenzie to read or how to just be normal. Aliyah spent most of her preteen years sneaking out and spending time with the 'normal' kids. McKenzie definitely wasn't normal.
"Beezus!" McKenzie squeaked as she shot up and hugged Aliyah tightly.
Aliyah let out a soft laugh as she patted McKenzie's head. "Mr. Elf brought me those books too."
Aliyah turned her attention to Charlotte. "I'll get her settled. I'll stop by your office."
It was ominous to Charlotte. What kind of sixteen year old just says that 'they'll stop by your office'? Then it hit her that each building had different systems in place for things like housekeeping and laundry. Since this building was supposed to only be for young adults, it was much more 'self-service'. Aliyah would know that because she had plenty of friends who had lived in that building during their last years.
"Yes, of course." Charlotte nodded. "It's in the same place as it was last year." She paused. "I don't know if you know where it is as you've never gotten in trouble..."
"Don't worry, President Penn." Aliyah giggled as she hugged McKenzie. "I think I know how to use a directory... And I think Mr. Elf could help me out even if I couldn't."
"Of course... Of course..." Charlotte awkwardly nodded before turning on her heel and briskly walking away.
