Wiki Wednesday #223 - Yuni Tokaji

The1renatu created a page for Aimi Fufuru in April of 2020. She was a sixteen year old who loves singing. Her name was then changed to Yuni Tokaji. None of those names brought up anything on Bing search, and searching the username on Google brought up the no results page. So, this is an utau with no design and no personality, but there is a CV bank with no oto or FRQ files.

Once again, it is fictional Ouura.

Once I got my top teeth and lips, the speech therapist was a ton of help. My bottom jaw had healed enough to not be in pain. I just be careful and not close my mouth too quickly. 

My nose was still a work in progress, but they had made the decision to go for bone grafts. Aaiiu bones specifically evolved to handle exposure to acid for obvious reasons. The sensation of the bones taking to the scaffolding they placed in my face wasn't painful - just strange. But it still left me with two massive black eyes that made my look even more grotesque than my two snake-like flat nostrils already did. 

I enjoyed our appointments up until the point that I always got tired or bit my tongue too hard. She was always understanding in those moments and let me go back to my room, even if I had only been there for fifteen minutes.

I was starting to get tired. She had learned to call it when my eyes started to lose focus. Surprisingly, she asked if we could have a personal conversation over text to speech. I nodded and pulled out my phone.

"So, what is it like?"

I hummed a bit. (Humming was even more fun than saying 'la'.) I used my phone to ask her what she meant.

She shrugged. "They bisected your trachea, but you seem unbothered beyond getting tired slightly faster."

I laughed. Or, I started to laugh until I felt like I was going to injure myself. "I had a tracheostomy." I pointed at the scar that they promised they would revise. "Breathing with my old trachea felt wrong once they removed it. This is just as different."

"How do you do this?" She had genuine confusion in her eyes. "How are you able to live in a hospital for this long, constantly having surgeries?"

"I have great insurance."

The attempt at humor didn't go well. She wasn't upset, just… sad for me. I did appreciate the pity. I looked down at my phone. I sat it on my lap and grabbed one of my spare click boxes from the pocket of my hospital gown. (I looked very posh for a hospital patient, but it was still clothes given to me by the hospital.) I opened a Madian to English translation app and tested to make sure it worked.

I asked her what she knew about the territories and tourist destinations. She knew nothing beyond the fact that they existed. On her planet, visiting territories was what rich people did. She was just a speech pathologist. I laughed. I apologized, but it was funny. Nothing was cheaper than a vacation subsidized by the tourism department. Though, why would their planet take part in those subsidies?

I asked if she liked her parents. She was uncomfortable. 

"No one here does, Beatrice." She looked so sad. "Well, no one that matters anyway." She started to tell me stories about all of her fellow childfree friends in college. Their parents kicked them out and forced them to cram themselves into tiny apartments because it took five overworked university students to afford a one bedroom place.

Then there was Little Jenny down by the river, braiding flowers into crowns. She arrived at dawn and left at dusk. She did nothing useful. When there were no flowers to braid, she read stories to the wildlife.

"She sounds like a Madian." 

How Is Yuni Tokaji's bank?

We know nothing. If this bank is stolen (because this situation feels really weird for someone to know how to record a bank, but not anything else), I want to make clear I do not support stealing banks. But, I do believe that it is likely not stolen at all. The bank has English R's, and ka is missing the K. Ze is outright missing. 

I do really like the voice. It is a very heavily Anglo accented bank with a calm, feminine voice. But, it would be difficult to use because of the things that are missing.
