Forgotten Friday #248 - 松尾つばさ / Matsuo Tsubasa

I think this is the last one with broken file names for a while! There was one more after this one on the archive, but they are not on the website.

Tsubasa is dead. She's a thirty five year old ghost who worked as a nurse at the hospital all of the other utaus in this family live at. She still sees herself as a nurse, though.

There was a crackling sound as a bright mint bolt of energy lept from Aliyah's hand to Stellaris's right shoulder.

Stellaris gasped as she grabbed her right arm. She had panic in her eyes as she couldn't feel the pressure of her hand. Her facial expression became blank as she realized what had just happened.

"Like this..." Stellaris picked up her paralyzed hand with her left hand and stared at it as she tried to force it to move.

"The next step would be a zipper spell to make an incision," Aliyah nervously laughed. "A real traditional doctor can zipper through muscle to get all the way to the bone. Then, they bring in a specialist to do whatever work is needed."

Stellaris stared at Aliyah. "But you won't..."

"No, no!" Aliyah shook her head. "I'm not interested in learning that stuff. Seeing the insides of people makes me faint." She placed her hand on Stellaris's shoulder until her fingers started to glow. Stellaris shuddered as the mint bolt from before began to leak from her shoulder and onto Aliyah's hand before snaking its way up her arm and disappearing under her sleeve.

As Aliyah stepped away, Stellaris shook her arm. "No side effects, huh?" Stellaris stared at her hand as it moved just as it normally would.

"Every procedure that causes permanent changes needs to heal," Aliyah shrugged. "That spell isn't just for anesthetic, it also completely shuts down the pain during healing. The trade-off is complete paralysis of the affected area. Normal medicine lets you push on with your life, even if it hurts."

"Am I going to need surgery?" McKenzie shrank back.

"Actually, yeah." Stellaris patted McKenzie on the shoulder. "Wisdom teeth."

"Ugh..." Aliyah rolled her eyes. "I'm dreading it so badly! The forecaster told me that the ideal time to get them out will be the summer between junior and senior."

"You'll be able to paralyze your face though!" Stellaris playfully stuck out her tongue just a bit. "Do you know what I would have paid for someone to just paralyze my face while I was recovering?"

"No, sadly..." Aliyah groaned. "Rule number one is to never paralyze anything used for breathing without a respirator. But if you're ever in the market for a BBL, I will happily take a paid vacation to Atlanta to paralyze your butt for you!"

"Deal, Lili!"

McKenzie spoke up. "Why would you want to paralyze her butt?"

Stellaris blushed. "Well... Surgery can change a lot of stuff. And some women want bigger butts, so they get Brazilian Butt Lifts to make them bigger."

"Is Brazil in Atlanta?" McKenzie's eyes were wide as she tried to understand.

"No, no..." Aliyah looked very motherly and caring, but she was laughing on the inside. "A lot of stuff has confusing names, and it's very good to ask questions to learn. Brazil is in Latin America. Your last name also might be from Latin America."

"Oh." McKenzie nodded. "But not from Brazil, right?"

Aliyah nodded. "Right."

How Are Matsuo Tsubasa's banks?

So, broken filenames. Check the article on Kaze Imo for instructions on that. 

First is her one pitch VCV bank. As it is set up, you cannot get - C entries without some creativity in the oto file. She has a calm but sweet voice.

Shizuku is a three pitch vcv bank.... THE FILE NAMES!!! Are Japanese :D !!! Not broken!! She is basically perfect and I love her. She has my favorite soft and reassuring cute voice type.

Next is the unmarked VCV, which is one pitch. File names are broken. She is more lively and youthful here.

The next is a three pitch Chinese bank... Yay! Except, it's not CVVChinese and instead Syo list, so my beautiful tester usts aren't able to just be awesome without edits. The Syo list is just CV but with just the necessary VC for finals. It was a little frustrating to figure out what was happening with that list, but she has a lovely voice!

Next is the one pitch VCV Kasumi. It's a really nice bank with a really sweet sound.

Finally!! We have the three pitch Hai / Ash Chinese CVVC Bank using the very nice but too long CVVCHN list. To download it, you need a Booth account, but I was under the impression all vocal synth users had the required Pixiv account.

The bank is very large and I can tell it took forever to make - that's why I created my Mandarin list that was the size of a Japanese vcv Bank. Anyways, her voice is very nice! I wanted to really show her off - this is the grand prize for sticking through all of the heartache, so here's double the example! (I am paranoid I used the wrong bank as my first impression was accidentally choosing the wrong bank haha...)
